3 years works experience on 186 direct entry visa
Hello everyone,
I have a question regarding my ACS skill assessment.
According to my assessment:
Bachelor’s degree (completed in Australia): 1 January 2023
Skill deemed date: 1 January 2023
However, ACS has also recognised my work experience as follows:
X Company: November 2022 – June 2023 (6 months)
Y Company: June 2023 – January 2026 (2 years 6 months)
They have counted 6 months of my pre-graduation work experience as closely related to my nominated occupation.
My question is: can I use this skill assessment to count my experience from November 2022, or do I need to start counting from the skill deemed date (1 January 2023)?
My agent mentioned that the pre-graduation experience can also be counted as ACS already recognised this experience as skill level. Has anyone had a similar experience or gone through this situation?
