Why did my Aquarius ex come back and then suddenly pull away?
My Aquarius ex and I broke up about 3 months ago. Recently, he came back, apologized for how things ended, and started calling me almost every night. He told me he’s jaded and not ready for a relationship.
Lately, though, he’s been very emotional and says he’s dealing with things involving his family and work. I’ve tried to be understanding and supportive, but I feel like I’m giving more emotionally than he is.
Now he suddenly hasn’t messaged me for days after saying that he cried randomly feeling heartbroken and the communication has gone quiet.
I don’t understand at all. How I see it is he dated someone after me and the relationship went high and dry.
I’m confused because he was the one who came back and initiated the calls, so I don’t understand why he would get close to me again and then pull away.
For those who have experience with Aquarius men: does this sound like he genuinely has a lot going on and needs space, or does it sound like he came back for emotional comfort and is now losing interest?
Would you give him space and wait, or would you completely step back and let him come to you if he actually wants something?
