A Victory!
Hi, I wanted to share a positive story after finally reporting a driver from 2 rides in August & November of 2025. (If this isn't allowed, my apologies in advanced!)
For some background, I rode with this driver once & he was asking a lot of questions, but I didn't think much of it, until the second ride I had with him. He remembered me & then got super flirty and heavily lacked boundaries. I was extremely uncomfortable & recorded the encounter incase anything went further, but thankfully, the ride ended. As soon as I got out of the ride, I blocked him, but didn't report him, as I was scared he'd know it was me. I was in this fear response for quite a while, (I also have CPTSD from similar stories, so that didn't help).
Thankfully, I finally had the courage to report him today. It felt terrifying but the Support Worker, (shoutout to Yara!!), was SO kind, empathic, took care of things quickly/seriously, & FULLY refunded me!! (Which, I didn't expect at ALL.) So a huge thank you to Lyft's Support Team, specifically Yara.
Of course, I'm still anxious & thinking that he's gonna find me, but I'm glad I finally reported him & that Yara was so graciously helpful.
