Is this not the absolute best vanity card?

I love this one. I've seen it play out, too, so the fact that it's accurate and a major tenant of modern therapy is pretty cool.

Alice

This is the one character who only appeared in a single episode that I wish we had more of... THIS would have been a very interesting arc. It could've ended the Priya storyline AND created a real battle for Leonard. Penny may have had to reckon with a girl who was cool, attractive, and had things in common with Leonard. She drew her own book, made jokes about conventions, and was openly and immediately attracted to Leonard. I wish he had got a chance to play this one out, even if Penny did eventually win him from her.

What did you think of Alice?

Do you have single episode characters that you wish we saw again?

Lots of Alternate Version Characters spotted in Stuart Fails 2nd Trailer

I'm not sure, but I think the little troll guy on the far right is the same actor who played the Train Weirdo with the Head Injury.

Penn & Teller playing themselves, too. Not sure if that counts as Amy's Dad, LOL.

Food & Drink: Souvenirs

I'm going for the first time in October. Will be attending HHN as well. I love food and drink with souvenir packaging, glasses, containers, buckets. Consider my budget unlimited.

What are the souvenirs that come with a food or drink purchase, not just gift shop items, that you've always wanted but couldn't justify the price?

Louisville Coloring Book

Just a concept. I've been saving some interesting pics from this sub for a couple of months now and think it could make a great "Louisville Coloring Book"

Anything that screams Louisville to you?

My plan would be to go around and take some original shots of Louisville and the surrounding areas and make a 20- to 30-page Coloring Book and try to sell them on Etsy for as cheap as possoble or something.

Also, any recs for a place that could actually print on the right kind of paper AND bind in a glossy cover for me? Some of those NuLu shops that might be interested in carrying 10 or 20 of them? Like, how does one get their products into Why or Red Tree? Just walk in and ask?

Very Specific Music Track

Please help. This has driven me insane for a decade.

On the season four DVD, there is a menu where this weirdly soothing, wobbly, melodic acoustic guitar is just kinda fucking around.

I need this ripped off the damn DVD somehow and download-able as an MP3. Is anyone alive out there able to help me?

Far as I can tell, it's just someone on the crew fucking around with their guitar. It doesn't have a name and it's not any Spotify Playlist that I could find.

Stuart Fails: A Bizzare Reaction From The Uninformed

I've been closely following this spin off from the get go, so I have been really taken aback by the reactions because nothing anyone has ever said about this show implied it would be anything other than what we saw in that trailer.

Here are several real quotes and paraphrased comments from creators, executives, and cast about Stuart Fails to Save the Universe, along with dates.

--

“I just wanted to do something that challenged me… unfamiliar territory.”

— Chuck Lorre describing the show’s heavy sci-fi and CGI direction, saying the series would be very different from his traditional sitcom work.

Date: February 17, 2026

--

“This is different.”

“The show will be very different from the shows fans… have seen so far.”

— summary from entertainment coverage discussing the project’s move toward larger-scale sci-fi storytelling and away from a traditional apartment-set sitcom format.

Date: July 10, 2025

So unless that trailer was genuinely the first you had ever heard of this spin-off, I just don't understand how anyone could have thought this would be a traditional three-camera sitcom or even in any way similar to The Big Bang Theory.

Am I crazy? Or was I just following the news way more closely than most people?

For what it's worth, if you didn't know: Stuart is played by a genuinely good actor very unlike the character... Kripke is a comedian out of the Upright Citizens Brigade community... Bert was a regular on Mr Show and has guest starred in an absurd amount of shows... Denise is a brilliant sketch comedian (her spotlight episode named after her, "Lauren Lapkus," in The Comedians on Netflix is one of the funniest 20 minutes ever put to film).

I personally have no fear at all. I haven't been this excited for a cast since Arnett, Sedaris, Tompkins, and Paul were announced for BoJack Horseman.
