I finally started the full cast audiobooks and I'm about done with CoS when it hit me, part of the plan to get information out of Malfoy was really dumb. Specifically the part where Hermione was going to transform into Millicent Bulstrode and say she just came back early. I genuinely don't know how Hermione did not see a problem with that. Millicent just shows up for an hour on Christmas day then skedaddles back home? I kinda wish Hermione didn't get a cat hair and actually transformed into Millicent Bulstrode, because I want to know what would have happened when dots were connected. I'm sure this has been brought up several times but it just popped into my head so I thought I would share it
