Best Turntable for a Sonos Living Room Setup (Era 100 + Beam + Sub Mini)?
Hello everyone,
I’m once again facing a huge dilemma when it comes to buying a turntable. The idea is to place it in my living room setup, where I currently have 2 Era 100s, a Beam, and a Sub Mini.
The main reason for getting a turntable is that my wife and I already own quite a few vinyl records, but ironically, no turntable to actually play them on. We’re not huge audiophiles, but it feels a bit sad having a growing vinyl collection that we can’t use.
My main priorities are:
- Something easy and convenient to use
- A setup that still allows me to use the speakers normally as a home theater system
- Ideally minimal extra cables or electronics
- Wireless would be a big plus since I may upgrade the Beam to an ARC in the future
I’ve been looking at the Pro-Ject T series mainly because I really like the design, specifically the Pro-Ject T1 EVO BT. The Pro-Ject T2W is more expensive, but could be an option if that means no need for extra hardware.
I’m completely open to suggestions, including different turntables or alternative solutions that work well with Sonos.
Thanks in advance!
