This looks like a really solid pick for the Era 100 SL at $159, especially since I don’t really need a built-in mic or voice assistant features. For people who own one — do you think it’s worth buying at this price, or would you still spend the extra $20 ($40 for a pair) and go for the regular Era 100s instead?
Hi all, I currently have a single Sonos one in my living room/kitchen. It fills the space well and tbh is enough for just my music listening purposes. I have however thought about getting something else and upgrading my setup. The era 300 caught my eye. Is it wrong to use a single era 300 in this space? I think it’s about 700 sq ft. Do I need 2?
Just bought my first Sonos device- era 300. Would u suggest AM or Spotify to get the best possible sound?
I have 5 old school pieces of equipment, I never upgraded to s2 because when it came out it was bricking the original equipment (or I thought). The app works fine though just this week, I’m get the Incompatable message like the photo though normally 2 pieces start working. Is it time for me to upgrade to s2 and just cross my fingers everything works?
I see there is currently a 20% discount on the Move 2 in my region. Is the new Play eating the Move 2's lunch right now?
The Move 2 is a large portable speaker, maybe too large.
Aside from using my ears of course.
I have two Sonos SL speakers, I've had them for about a year now. They have NEVER worked correctly. I am constantly having to go over, unplug them, re-add them to the app. At first it seemed bi-weekly, but now it's DAILY.
Basically if I want to play music on them I have to disconnect them from the app, restart them physically and add them back.
I won't ever own a Sonos again, I used to love the brand but the new ones and the App are trash right out of the box.
What kind of evil is this
My rears are suddenly much more prominent in the soundscape this week, presumably after an update. Has anyone else experienced this? Setup is Arc, Sonos One rears and gen 2 sub.
So currently I have a very old five (keeps disconnecting), an old one and one SL. I’m thinking of an upgrade but can’t decide what’s the best bang for my buck.
Option 1 - buy another one sl to stereo pair with my one sl and add a mini sub
Option 2 - buy the latest five and just have it on its own with the idea of getting another five down the line.
Help me decide please
I have a Samsung one tv and a Sonos bar that was purchased together with the house. The TV already had the optical out for audio plugged into the sound bar, which is working just fine however, on my Samsung one TV I cannot control the volume. I already tried to add it as a smart controller within Samsung software however it did claim to do it correctly, but it did not any ideas?
We have got rid of Alexa from our house as we are fed up with Amazon. Sonos voice is ok but seems limited.
We can’t use it to start a bbc radio station like we can with Alexa even though it’s controllable in the app easily.
My wife often doesn’t have her phone in the kitchen and wants to start either live bbc radio 2 or live bbc radio 6.
Is there a simple button we could setup to start the stream if do we need to use an old tablet or something?
In ceiling speaker design
Help! We are building a house and we would like to put in ceiling speakers in the kitchen, great room, and sunroom. How many do you think would be appropriate to each room? I’m thinking two in the kitchen, four in the great room and two in the sunroom would love to hear other people’s opinions!
I have a era 300 for listening to music and the beam gen 1 for the TV. Overall it sounds really good I think it's the best of both words with atmos music and upgraded TV sound. Don't hate on my for my cable management it's an apartment 😂.
I have an Era 100 in my system. The volume is extremely low/week. In order for it to be audible the volume needs to be 85+. Any suggestions as to how I can fix this?
Thanks
Hi,
I have an issue with my setup:
- Arc Ultra
- 2x Era 300
- 2x Sub 4
TV: LG Oled C4
The dialogue on center channel sounds muffled, almost like the speaker is blown. However, after diagnostics together on the phone with Sonos, they decided to send me a new unit of Arc Ultra.
After receiving the new unit, the issue is still there.
This problem occured less than a month a go. No settings neither on the Sonos or the TV has been changed. I suspect software update caused this, but I am not sure.
The sound is very bad.
As the title states, Rakuten denied my 15% cashback on my Sonos Arc Ultra because I used a 15% off upgrade credit. Yes, it does say it will be ineligible with you use a code not listed on the Rakuten site. From all the posts I could find, people referenced using Rakuten with an upgrade credit but never followed up saying if they got it or not.
I’m disputing it with Rakuten and if they won’t honor it, I’ll return the Arc Ultra and just buy an open box one for $860.
Hopefully this helps someone. I’ll let you know if they ultimately give me the cashback or not.
Hey all,
Just recently sold my old Sonos Roam and now planning to get either Play or Move 2.
Any suggestions and recommendations on which one to get - it will be used mostly in the kitchen, as well as on the go. Current house set up is Beam, 2xOnes and sub mini, so I would also use it in that system.
Thanks in advance!
