I got my AirPods Max a while ago and are no longer covered under Apple care. The right ear cup is making this terrible static noise when using Noise Cancellation or Transparency mode. So obviously a microphone issue. I can use them fine with the “off” listening mode and no static. I’ve read many threads about similar problems but they don’t seem as dramatic of a sound. Curious what my realistic solutions are. I’m pretty handy, do I have to just replace the microphone, something else? Anyone dealt with this before?
We live on Court street behind a restaurant that’s on Washington st, and have the same number address. Probably at least 2x a day we have DoorDash/grubhub drivers on bikes ringing our doorbell, often past midnight, looking to pickup food. Today we had our door open for 10 seconds as we were getting ready to leave and a guy literally walked into our house. I’ve gone over multiple times to the restaurant to complain about this because it’s only started after they opened up. Is there anything I can do about it, anyone else dealing with anything similar? It’s starting to drive us crazy.
Had to carry it a mile to the train haha but worth it! She said it was sitting in storage for years, it’s in PRISTINE condition. Can’t wait to pair it to my $250 Walmart arc

I’m a designer that uses a lot of references in my adobe illustrator libraries. Everytime I try and upload a graphic/artwork into my library, the thumbnail image doesn’t show up. It shows up perfectly fine for color swatches, and patterns in my library, but not artwork. I’ve tried everything I can find online and it’s driving me insane! Since it works perfectly fine for my coworker sitting next to me.
Title says it all, is this a good deal? Found a deal on Facebook. I want to be closer to $500 so I may wait it out and see if they get desperate enough to sell lol.
I already have a Beam Gen 2, looking to have basic surround sound setup. I’d plan on upgrading to 2x Era 100 around the holidays and using the ONE SL’s around the house after that.
Hi! Im working on a 1960s Eames Style Chair. I’ve been doing leatherwork/bootmaking for 5 years now, but this is my first upholstery project. When I was wrapping the inner shell, I obviously pulled the leather too tight on the ends, which caused it to pull in, causing these gaps on the side. This happened on all the pieces (head, middle, seat, and ottoman, but this one is the biggest). Is there something I can do to make it seamless?
The leather/inner shell on everything is very flexible, so it can 100% be moved into place. Can I countersink screws from the other so it stretches it out? Use a brace? I’m not necessarily a wood guy yet so I’m still learning. Any tips are appreciated!! :)
I have a relatively small living room, but cozy and a good size (NYC for ya lol). The open part on the right goes to our kitchen so it’s not fully closed off living room. I currently have a Beam Gen 2 but I’m looking to expand to maybe a 5.1 setup. My questions are:
- Will the ERA 300 be too much for a room this size?
- Sub vs Sub Mini for room this size? (We have no neighbors on any side of us, so vibrations aren’t a problem)
- any other tips/opinions?
I’m routing a 30ft hdmi 2.1 from my living room to my monitor in a different room. I plug it into the Xbox, and then into the monitor and nothing, black screens, I try both HDMIs. I think it’s the cable so I test it out on my tv (also LG), and it works perfectly. So it’s not the Xbox, or Cable, it has to be the monitor… confused what to do. As much as this monitor looks amazing boy is troubleshooting it terrible. Any suggestions?
EDIT: SOLVED. I had to reset the monitor back to factory settings. Weird but it worked.
Has anyone recently noticed the Hue App feels glitchy? I’m on an iPhone 17PM running IOS 26.5, and the app has felt a little slow for about 3-4 months. The lights all respond quick, but just general navigating is slow enough to notice. I’ll try to scroll through my scenes and it freezes for a second. It’s like I have to wait for the app to catch up which has never been the case for me before. Yes I know this is probably the most first world problem ever🤣
Hi all! So I just renewed my citibike membership via Lyft pink maybe 2 weeks ago. A few days after that I got a new job, that one of the benefits is free citibike membership, yay! Is there any way to get a refund or partial refund of the membership cost and replace with the company one? Anyone ran into this?
