Home Depot
I know everyone knows that Home Depot is clearing out, this is all my store had sadly.
**Edited** Clearing out Hue products, or a lot of them are unavailable in-store.

Due to the huge size of Philips Hue bulbs, I can't fit them into 3 of my fixtures. I had to buy smaller size IKEA Kajplats instead. I managed to connect them all within my Hue network, and the scenes or color management works excellent, but the only thing that doesn't work is the ON/OFF switch in the app. Meaning I can't turn the lights off both in the app or through the Philips Hue dimmer switch.
Is there a workaround around this? I connected all the bulbs through the switch off and on 12 times Zigbee mode pairing.
Hello, I’m currently looking at buying the flux lights strip to use in ceiling coving in my bedroom. I need around 12m so I was gonna buy a total of 15m. Currently there is a bright days sale on (UK) and it’s working out cheapest for me to purchase 3 5m base kits and then buy the necessary connectors separately, instead of buying a base kit and extension strips.
I was just wondering that if I cut 2 of my base kits at the nearest cut point to the power connection (as circled) and reconnect the strips together with the connectors will they work as one long strip. I did reach out to Philips and they said that I can only extend the base kit with the extension strips not with additional base kit strips, but I’m not sure as to me it seems as simple as using the connectors to join the two strips together at the cut points.
Is there anyone who could confirm this or do I need to spend a bit extra and get the extension strips, I just wanted to make sure I can control it as 1 long strip in the app.
Thanks for your help.
Just bought the 8K Hue Sync Box connected to my TV (as my 3rd screen) and I've been having some intermittent issues with it. The TV will occasionally go completely black if I start trying to play Netflix. Sometimes it fixes itself when I restart the Hue Sync Box but often, it persists through a Synx Box restart.
I do some streaming as well and when I'm in-game (Hunt: Showdown), it will also occasionally go black when I tab back IN from my game. When the game is running, it's fine. It's only when I Alt-Tab back into my desktop that it causes issues (and I don't even play Hunt on the same screen that I have the Hue Sync Box hooked up to.
I'm at a loss as to what to do. I like the functionality it adds but I game way more than I watch movies/shows on the TV as my 3rd monitor so if I had to choose . . .
I love my hue lighting. I mostly have hue essential because they're a lot cheaper and very similar to the non-essential bulbs, but they don't make any e14 hue essential bulbs; does anyone know any alternatives or release dates for e14 hue bulbs?
Any help is appreciated.
I just got myself a Play Gradient and a sync box 4k (old one) to use it with my pc. I know this sync box handles 4k60, and qhd fhd 120hz. The problem is that it works well on 60Hz, but not on above 60Hz, even though it is on QHD.
First of all, my monitor is 240Hz(but I usually play games between 90~120), so I set it to 120Hz in the Nvidia settings, but the hyu app just says "Ready" and the light on the strip isn't coming on. When I set it to 144hz it clearly says that it is not supported. But between 70~120Hz, it lets me click the button, but it doesn’t work at all.
Any idea what is going on?
I installed it with a 6cm gap between the outermost edge of the strip and the edge of the TV, but the bottom corners come up short, should I readjust? I will post images below
I have a bulb that is starting to fail, and is mainly used to turn on and off inside my front door.
I control most with Home assistant and have a hue hub. Will this work with that? I feel like the bulbs used to be much more expensive. This on is $21 on Amazon Canada.
Hi,
I am moving to a new condo next month and would like to purchase recessed lights during the sale preemptively.
Hoping to lean on the experience of this sub. These are the lights in the new condo. Do you think the retrofit down lights are a safer bet or am I looking at something like a GU10 or MR16 bulb? I understand if this is impossible to answer without taking the light down, but hoping it’s not!
Hello. I recently got two 33ft strands for my bedroom, and finished setting them up with diffusers today. I have a mini split AC unit in my room, and the ducting along the wall is where I chose to have the two strands end. I cut them at the nearest solder/cut point, but there is still several inches from both ends of the strand hanging out of the diffuser. I’ve currently wrapped them around the ducting, but if there is no harm in cutting the strands further up, I’d rather do that for nicer aesthetics.
Thanks!
I have my garden lights set up so they turn on 1h after sundown and turn off 1h before sunrise. I've set them to 50% brightness and went in the settings of every lamp and set it so it turns on with the same brightness it was turned off at.
Every night they go on at 100% brightness. Seems that setting only works if you turn them on manually and not with the automation.
This is something so basic there must be a way.
Is the Hue Gradient Signe too expensive for you? No problem! The new Hue Play floor lamp and Hue Play table lamp will be released in June. €80 for the 60cm table lamp and €150 for the 135cm floor lamp. Both with gradient technology.
Hello friends. I'm looking for a good options for my portable bar. I'm wondering if there is a good hue light strip that could run off of Bluetooth or something? Since it's a portable bar I don't think connecting to Wi-Fi each event would be possible. I'm wondering if there is a work around. I need at least 16 ft. Or if anyone can recommend a good bright color LED strip with a battery pack or something for you
Hi guys
As the title suggests, would this 5m lightstrip be OK to go on my 65" TV?
Thanks in advance ☺️
So many 3rd party hue apps have ridiculous subscriptions or paid "upgrades" that often times give you features you could get for free in the official hue app or in a free app, such as hue music sync, which is often times paid but is offered for free in some others(I won't give examples because advertising rule). I would really like to hear an actual reason for why this is true for most of these apps.
Local DFW Targets are selling the 10ft solo lightstrips for $34.99 in store. Not a bad deal.
Asked this from Hue support also, but they could not provide an answer… They also informed that clips are not sold separately by them.
The reason for this question is that I am planning on 3D printing ”longer” attachment clips, and for the older outdoor lightstrip I can find ready drawings online, but can’t find for the newer Neon lightstrip.
We NEED a hue native mmwave motion sensor.
It will confirm that hue is the best smart light system put there with that tool.
