My son rows and I like to take photos. It’s generally daylight or under stadium lights, so low light isn’t terribly important. I just bought myself a RF100-400 for walking around taking pictures of birds.

At the regatta I’m generally shooting from a tripod. Is there a compelling reason I’m missing to use the EF vs the RF? I like the plunger style zoom a little better for action and I think the L series looks cooler, but that shouldn’t determine which lens I use (lol)
