Double D isn't really that weak

I’ve come to the conclusion that Double D isn't as weak as he appears to be—in fact, he possesses colossal strength. Ever since I watched the episode "A Fistful of Ed," I found it quite strange that Double D was the one who left the school kids severely injured through accidents that were entirely unintentional. Yet, the damage he inflicted makes absolutely no sense if Double D is truly considered a weakling. He isn't even capable of lifting a 10-gram weight—a completely insignificant object—in the episode "Cool Hand Ed." Furthermore, in the episode "Tag Yer Ed," it is shown that Double D's physical condition is far from optimal; I mean, he couldn't even throw a ball, he fractured his arm hitting a punching bag, and later, in the ring, he lost a match against Plank. I could cite even more examples, but returning to "A Fistful of Ed": he fractured Rolf's skull with just two kicks—and Rolf is a character considered to be one of the strongest in the series, second only to Ed and the Kanker Sisters. I’d also like to remind you that, in that very same season, Rolf and Eddy competed in a pain-endurance duel. In the episode "The Good, the Bad, and the Ed," Eddy and Rolf undergo challenges far more painful than others—such as bending their elbows backward, being struck by massive boulders, jumping from extreme heights only to land on a moving train, and then being catapulted by a bungee cord to slam into the ground with tremendous force. And yet, while Rolf is left severely injured after all that—which, within the logic of their world, actually makes sense—are you really going to tell me that a scrawny guy like Double D inflicted *more* damage on him than those life-threatening challenges did? There’s also the scene in the cafeteria where he accidentally pricks his finger with a fork; he strikes Johnny with such force that Johnny goes flying, slams into Marie Kanker, ricochets all over the cafeteria, hits the far wall, and then bursts right through it to the other side as if nothing happened. I mean, are you seriously telling me that Double D sent Johnny flying *and*—as an added bonus—took a Kanker Sister out of commission just like that? Finally, I’d like to mention that Double D was the only one able to withstand Eddy’s older brother’s car in the movie—even while in motion and carrying extra passengers. Well, this has led me to the conclusion that Double D actually possesses a hidden gift for brute strength, but he holds back significantly because he is such a pacifist. Or perhaps it’s something else entirely—something that almost no one has ever stopped to consider regarding the character before. You tell me: is this just cartoon exaggeration, or is there something more to the character?
