X300 Pro sample photos with Neewer LS-79 teleconverter lens

These photos were taken with my X300 Pro using the Neewer LS-79 240mm teleconverter lens. The color setting was on Vivid mode. All pictures were unedited.

I think the LS-79 lens has very good optics and produces sharp images. It creates darker, higher-contrast photos with really nice natural bokeh, similar to a DSLR camera, which I really like.

The only downside is that vignetting is quite noticeable at 3.5x (85mm), but it disappears once you zoom to 4.5x.

Night Heron Transform

This is just a video I took at Liberty Square in Taipei. For those who are looking for Night Herons or other birds while visiting Taipei, I recommend Liberty Square. It is about a 100-meter walk from Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall Station (Exit 5), making it very easy to get to. There are two ponds there where you can find a wide variety of birds, making it a great place for birdwatching.

I have been using these Jckel cases for a while, and I decided to do a review of them. I bought both of them from Shopee Taiwan, and each one cost about 15USD.

The synthetic leather case has two 17mm threads — one on the main lens and one on the telephoto lens. The carbon fiber-style case also has two threads, plus an additional 67mm thread for 67mm filter lenses. The synthetic leather case also comes with a V-Mount to 17mm adapter ring, so you can use Vivo lenses with this case.

I have both the Neewer LS-79 and LS-41 Pro lenses, and they work pretty well with these cases. The threads seem smooth and reliable, and so far I have not had any issues.

Both cases are MagSafe-ready, and the magnets are strong enough to hold a wireless charging battery. However, they are not strong enough to work with a magnetic tripod because the phone is simply too heavy.

I think both cases are pretty durable, although I feel the synthetic leather case is a little sturdier. Overall, I am satisfied with both cases. I would recommend these cases to X300 Pro owners.
