Question to Vivo X300 (Base) users

Hello comm, I am planning to buy a vivo X300 next month.

From several reviewers I've watched and some comments on here I've seen that X300 series have a problem with camera colors that sometimes it looks too "unnatrual", has this been fixed?

Also, I am switching from Xiaomi 14T and rn it's horrible battery wise, can I have for example 6-7 hours of battery life continous LTE + GPS + Komoot for a total of 3 hours then rest on wifi? with my 14t my phone usually dies around 4h with that usage...

and how is at home/wifi battery life? can i easily get 10h just using yt, anki and offline video playback at home?

also one last question, does it overheat during gaming? i ocassionally play bandori/pjsk but havent been much into it since i got a gaming laptop but still..

Also i'd like to see Screen on Time from base x300 too, if possible please post that as well.

and Thank You.

Vivo x200 pro mini can't be hooked to the DJI mavic mini

Hi, completely baffled why the x200 pro mini refuses to be used with the OG DJI mavic mini.

The RC is not connected to the mobile device, the error in the app says.

The cable is just fine, the rc connects to another phone right away, just not the x200 pro mini.

I've enabled file transfer for usb through developer options, but still - nothing at all.

Any ideas??

A taste of tradition for today's breakfast spread. 💚

Bringing some color to my breakfast table today with this classic traditional snack. The soft, spongy texture and the sweet pandan aroma are exactly what I need to fuel my morning.

What does this Lock/Unlock button do?

I never understood what this app lock/unlock option does, and it's a little difficult to look it up online since it would be interpreted as the lock from lock screen or lock the phone. Any help is appreciated. TIA

Vivo x300pro really disappointed, AI Crxp

The cameras are all relatively Bad except in perfekt lighting conditions and RAW looks really bad and low res on the main and telelens. The only acceptable Output is the stacked sraw JPEG.

Also AI fucks every picture up. First picture is reality... Look at my eyebrow, skin texture and the Iris. The second one hast merged the eyebrow with my skin and gave me some asian microblading tattoo... eyelashes are gone and merged with my eyeball which now looks like a frogs lens.

And the speakers and GPS are worse than a Pixel10 with it's crappy Tensor. I was so exited for this phone.... And it ist the single most overpriced and overhyped phone. 1200 Euros for AI slop.

It is unusable for shooting pics of people and there should be an option to turn off the slop. and yes or does that to my face with HDR off too and with RAW Light on the main Lens.

Why this is happening? The size uploaded to drive is different than actual.

So i clicked one photo in my Vivo X300U. The original size as you can see in the image is 4.0 MB whereas the Backup image is only 1.1 MB.

Do we know the reason and how to avoid this?

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE 80MB JULY UPDATE

The network has gotten considerably worse - normal phone calls from my room (9th floor in a low network area) now does normal calls instead of VoNR - CONSIDERABLY LOWER QUALITY.

Also, WhatsApp call quality while driving on my usual route has dipped significantly - with constant lags.

I have started regretting upgrading to a Chinese manufacturer.

Help me decide! Need a good and simple phone

Hi there! I'm looking for a good camera phone which makes as less post processing as possible.

My requirements:

Flat screen

All day batterry life

Camera- natural looking pics with many details, no overprocessing

UI- clean UI which not uses all the RAM to process android skin

Good screen, at least 120hz and 1080resoltunion and at least 480 pwm dimming

Size - 6,3 - 6,7 inch screen or bigger if camera is really good

I was considering vivo x300 pro/ ultra but don't know what ti expect since I haven't keep that brand's phone in my hands.

Oppo find x9 ultra or pro I saw a lot of good photos but not sure about the processing

Sony Xperia 1 VIII I loved everything about the camera but the phone itself seems to have so many compromises and the price is very high, difficult to find a case etc.

Pixel phones: but I read that they add AI processing drastically

I like street photography and take pictures of my cat and random moments😂 Hi there! I'm looking for a good camera phone which makes as less post processing as possible.

A File New Manager Appearead

A new File Manager app appeared after I updated my phone from Android 15 to Android 16, which also upgraded the UI from FuntouchOS to OriginOS 6. The update only became available on my Vivo Y-series phone recently, while the flagship X and Fold series received it first.

︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎

As for the File Manager app, I'm not sure if this only happened to me or if anyone else has experienced the same thing. Has anyone else noticed this? Should I use it over Google's Files? Any insights would be appreciated. ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎ ︎

Hello guys, I'm still confused between X9 Ultra and the X300 Ultra. Can anyone help?

Hi guys,

I've been reading and watching pretty much every review I can find on YouTube, yet the more I watch and research, the more confused I get. I'm just wondering if any one of you is in the same boat, trying to contemplate between the Oppo Find X9 Ultra and the Vivo X300 Ultra. If so, what made you tip towards the Oppo or Vivo? I really like the design and the beauty of the Oppo, and that's why I'm leaning towards it, but one of the main reasons I want to buy this phone is for photography. Therefore, it should do THAT thing the best, which is taking photos and videos. Just wondering why, as a camera phone, Oppo is a better choice compared to the Vivo or Vice versa for that matter?

I would also like to know if I'm based in the US, which will be the best website to buy either of these phones on and the best price in USD lately?

Edit: I also wanted to ask about video quality. I’ve been watching a lot of videos from newer YouTubers lately, and some of their work has this beautiful cinematic, film-like look that I absolutely love. For example:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfdj92Qv5E8

I understand this was most likely shot on a professional camera and not on a phone, but I’m curious which phone would get me closer to that style. Vivo seems to have a dedicated Film Mode, while Oppo does not appear to have the same kind of feature. So for cinematic video with rich colors, mood, and that “film look,” would the Vivo or Oppo be the better choice?
