Im in Love but he’s leaving
Hi.
I’ve never posted before so I don’t know how to start this but here we go.
Just under a week ago I (20F) went on a date with this man (29M) he’s from Argentina, we had the most amazing date, the chemistry is amazing and I’ve seen him about 4 times since and slept over at his house a few times.
Here’s the thing, he’s a backpacker, he’s been where I live for a few months but is going back to Argentina for a month very very soon and doesn’t know whether he will renew his visa and come back to where I live. I can tell I’ve already developed feelings for him, he’s gorgeous, treats me better than I‘ve ever been treated and as I said the chemistry between us is insane it’s like magnets.
It’s to the point (and I know this sounds insane) that if he asked me to come with him I would, but I’m not sure whether he is as attached as I am. Or whether he’d even consider asking.
He is obviously older than me and has a lot more life experience, his world is much larger than mine if that makes sense and it’s one of the things I like about him most. I want my world to be as big as his and I want to do it with him.
I know this comes off obsessive and insane, I know it’s way too soon to have these feelings, but I don’t know what to do.
Do I hold myself back and try and withdraw ? Or do I see him up until the moment he leaves and be hopelessly heart broken?
