Tracking number didn't save

Hey all, I'm a very occasional seller. Mostly a buyer.

The other day I listed and sold an item on eBay. I didn't use their label services because I don't have a printer and I thought it would just be easier to do it manually like I've always done in the past.

So I brought it to the post office, got the tracking number and manually entered it on the website, and marked it shipped.

The next day I checked and nothing was saved? So I went to edit and enter the tracking number again but it was already entered in the field. I hit save, but it still wasn't actually saving, went back in to edit but the tracking number was there, hit saved again. Etc. then I moved on with my life and hoped for the best, even though it still wasn't "saving" (and yet there it was whenever I hit edit). I was successfully able to mark it as shipped but that's it.

So I checked the USPS website with the tracking number and it was delivered today, but eBay is telling me it's waiting for delivery to pay me. And now I can't go back in to edit I'm assuming because the three day window is up?

I don't know. Did I lose out on money? Thanks for any help.

Signed,

A tech-averse seller who only sells on eBay about twice a decade.

A book that I got from the scholastic book fair in the '90s when I was about 12, about a girl who lives in Oakland, CA and goes to an arts middle school and I believe plays the violin?

I feel like this might be a long shot. I read it over and over back then, it was one of my favorite books. It was about a girl in middle school I think? And she lives in Oakland, CA. The Oakland fires is a major theme, and either she and her family had to move in with a relative or vice versa. School is challenging but she's making new friends all in the arts and she loves it. I feel like it was called something like "Fall Magic" but it doesn't come up when I Google it. I can see the cover so clearly in my mind. It has a photo of the main character sort of juggling everything in her life, and it's like pink and purple whimsical colors.

I feel like this book disappeared from existence so if anyone knows what I'm talking about I would consider it a miracle. Thank you!

Book about a daughter whose mother is an artist, was supposed to be a surrogate but ran away?

I read it a few years ago. Can't for the life of me remember the title. I don't even remember the whole plot, just a few key points. It was told from the perspective of the daughter. She's in high school. She and her mother are new in town and rent an apartment. Her mother is an artist with an agent in New York. We find out the mother was supposed to be a surrogate for this rich couple in New York but she runs away and keeps her daughter so she's been on the lam and that's why they keep moving throughout the daughter's life. (I think? Unless I'm mis-remembering.)

Also I seem to remember something about a fire burning down someone's house? Themes of adoption.

Thank you!

JJ Gonson was (maybe still is?) mailing out post cards of her photo of Elliott. I was lucky enough to catch her Instagram post about it and was mailed one. How cool? I will treasure this.
