EITC/British Empire
Hi everyone,
Disclaimer: First off, I know AI isn't everyone's favorite, but it was the best tool at my level to simply capture the game's aesthetic and show how I picture things in my head. I'm the first exited to see actual artist get into it.
The Core Subject
I’ve always been a huge fan of the Royal Navy and other uniformed faction. I recently started playing Windrose in my search for a great pirate-themed universe, and I’m really enjoying it.
The Ashland trailer showing the EITC (East India Trading Company) flag got me hyped.
I know that Blackbeard theoretically sent the Caribbean fleet to the bottom of the ocean, but with all the magic and paranormal elements in this universe, it feels like a empire or a powerful corporation like the EITC would inevitably get involved.
My Questions :
Uniform
If you're a fellow uniformed-faction nerd, how do you picture them looking in-game? For the image I attached, I drew inspiration from real historical uniforms mixed with the classic Playmobil Redcoats and Bluecoats (which I loved as a kid).
World interaction
How should they interact with the world? Personally, I’d love to see them as an enemy faction. It would be amazing to raid their forts, but still be able to casually walk through their heavily guarded cities and markets.
Customization
Ultimately, I really hope we can sail under their colors (either as a faction mechanic or just pure cosmetics), wear their uniforms, and dress our crew in matching gear.
Ultimately how would you like to see the British Empire or the EITC integrated into the game, mechanics lore wise etc.
