What part of your fulfilment still feels manual even after using a 3PL?

Been working with a 3PL for a while now, but some things still feel surprisingly manual.

For me it’s stuff like double-checking orders or keeping an eye on inventory updates just to be safe.

Curious what others are still handling manually even after outsourcing fulfilment.

What’s the most frustrating part of fulfilment for your business?

  1. Packing orders?
  2. Inventory not matching?
  3. Returns? Shipping delays?
  4. Running out of space?
  5. Or just spending too much time on fulfilment instead of growing the business?

Would be interesting to hear what’s actually causing the biggest headaches for small and growing ecommerce brands.

How often do you actually check your 3PL inventory?

How do you guys handle inventory accuracy with your 3PL?

Do you rely on the 3PL's system completely, do regular physical counts, or reconcile inventory against your Shopify/Amazon numbers?

Have you ever discovered a significant difference between the system quantity and the actual stock?
