so I made an application to be a reserve soldier, however shortly after I was told to do the medical questionairre, in this questionaire I admitted that I had attempted to take my life (When I was 15) following that, I was immediatly told to appeal and my application was rejected. I had no intent to appeal as I already got rejected a year ago and did like 3 appeals which were all denied. However, 2 days later, they've suddenly come back to me saying I've passed the appeal even tho I have never appealed. I'll add the message below but I'm just wondering what this means.

Am I safe till assesment centre now? or is this likely an admin issue that will be sorted out soon and I'll be failed again.

Hi,

I am just wondering wether I will ever be allowed to join the Army after trying to kill myself?

I understand the most likely answer is no and I fully get the reasoning behind it, but this happened when I was 15 turning 16, I am now 18 and aside for a month on anti depressants I never had any treatment following it or any sort of therapy.

I've had Job's, College and I'm a different person from when I was 15, but the Army doesn't seem to think so, it's a bit of a let down as my dad was in the Army for 25 years, he watched my brother join and everyone in the family is super proud of him and interested in what he has to say, and I'm barely finding work in warehouses.

It makes me feel a little annoyed as it was my dream from a young age, and I genuinely think I'd be able to do it, but the Army only see in black and white and won't hear my point of view out. I'm on my last appeal which is the main reason I'm making this post, if I were to try appeal for the last time when should I do it, or not.

I have been doing this quite a bit recently in work and the management are really strict about unauthorsied breaks ect, so if we take a pause for 5 to 10 minutes because it's too hot we're all getting yelled at, today was really rough and it took almost 2 and a half hours because of the way it was loaded, and I couldn't get any time to leave the container once during that period.

Whenever I go outside I feel nauseas and paranoid that I'm being watched and judged by everyone and even when I do simple things like walking I just feel like I'm doing it wrong or awkwardly.

I was prescribed sertraline but it made me feel even worse and I couldn't stick with it, sorry if this all sounds childish I don't know how to word it any better.

I'm out of college now and have a level 2, I can't get hired because I don't have experience and can't be funded for apprenticeships because I already have the level 2. Is there any way I can get my foot in the door or am I stuck.
