Do you ever feel like it’s wasteful?

I have a handful of Hermes bags including Kellys and Birkins of various sizes, all of which I bought from the Hermes store along with a lot of other items.

I went through my storage today and I realized just how many things I’ve bought. I have countless paper bags and boxes that I dumped in the storage room. Took me hours to go through everything and organize them, putting smaller boxes in bigger ones. It occurred me how just how wasteful all this is. Do you ever feel regret? I mean I love my bags and I use a lot of the things I’ve bought, clothes, jewelry, China, etc… but do you ever look at your stuff and go, hmmm what if I had investment all this money. I mean I didn’t go into debt to purchase my things and my life is unaffected, but still… It’s money.

Allocate extra earnings

How would you allocate an extra $160k a year after all everyday expenses like mortgage, food, utilities etc… Mortgage rate is 2.25% and there is already an emergency fund set aside.

Is it too excessive to spend a third of that on travel? How would you allocate this extra money every year between investing, travel/fun money, and cash or any other categories?
