After 6 months of waiting in London, I finally got my wish. My first Birkin from the boutique 🥹
It happened much faster than I expected, but I’m completely in love with her. This was the dream bag for me. My SA asked me to make another wish but I declined. I don’t think I want another standard leather Birkin. Definitely want to look into exotics now.
anybody been offered this picotin? I saw it online - how easy/difficult is it to be offered one? also wanted to ask fellow H lovers what you all think about this bag?

I have a black tablier sellier and i am obsessed with it so versatile, chic and fits so much.. i wanted it in another color and my sister was recently offered one in ardoise (dark grey) PHW and i loved the combo of the cool grey with the silver so i asked her to get it for me…
However when i received it and i put it next to my black one they are unfortunately too similar and it doesnt make sense for me to keep it but i really really love the bag and would love it in another color..
Any advice: should i keep it or let it go

I know SAs can see your spending history once they are assigned to you so if you bring a bag you bought from a reseller to the store, they might assume you went the reseller route to get it. I recently bought a bag from a reseller because frankly I didn't have the patience for this Hermes game situation. I want to go into the store to buy some matching twillies with the bag but just wondering if they will be less helpful because they will see that bag was not included in my boutique spend history.
I told my SA that a Birkin is on my wishlist. Any size, and color except purple and red. She said she is getting one on Thursday and we set an appt for me to come see it. Eek!! I’m not a big spender. I have a pied-à-terre that I don’t visit very often. I prefer to keep all of my Hermes bags with me, but I’m wondering if it makes sense to leave one or two there for convenience.
For those of you with a second home/pied-à-terre that you don’t visit frequently, do you keep a few handbags there? Or do you bring your bags with you every time?
I’m torn between the convenience of having a bag waiting for me and wanting to keep my collection all in one place.
Just bought this bag from a reseller and you can tell that the bag was not stuffed when stored. Without the felt insert, it folds over. She has some damage from use and I’m mostly okay with it. I plan to use her and not baby her.
I have two questions though: can I do anything to polish up the scratched up hardware and can I do anything to straighten the front right and back right seams?
I should add that I have had it authenticated (LegitGrails) and I don’t plan to send it to the spa until I’ve worn it enough for it to be worth being gone for several months to a year. I also will not be sending it to any other spa in the meantime.
If this is normal wear due to the way it was stored and I’m being overly critical, feel free to kindly tell me so. She is a 2017 Togo B30 in Bleu Nuit.

Curious to hear what bags others have been offered recently and declined. I know everyone says you never say no but I’ve declined bags from the beginning of my journey and only once do I think it may have backfired (I was still searching for a US based SA and she offered me an Evelyne on our first meeting and I declined and she never texted me back). So far this year I have declined 2 exotic Constance 18s and a blue box micro picotin in grey ostrich. In a separate visit I accepted a picotin 18 in alligator. When I look it it, it’s beautiful but now I’m not sure how much I will actually use it. Maybe should have been another no!
The boyfriend got me another Pegase charm for my birthday 🎂 He got me the yellow/blue/Etoupe one for Valentine’s Day from my home store and the purple/beige/mint one when we were in Vegas.

Hi! I had my husband text my SA a few weeks ago about a Birkin 25 because I had added it to my wishlist during one of my appointments. He reached out to her about it, and now he and I are going in to see her and shop on Friday. Do you think we should bring up the Birkin 25 again in person, or should we just leave it alone for now?
I had been SO excited to make this post today because a bag I’ve been trying to get for months is finally mine.
Unfortunately, my experience has now become a little tarnished, and I need my fellow Hermès Reddit lovers to tell me what you would have done in this situation.
I’ve been shopping with the same SA at my home boutique since the beginning of this year. From pretty much the beginning, I’ve told her that I really want a Mini Garden Party. She’s repeatedly told me that they’re extremely difficult to get and at one point even told me that I probably wouldn’t want one because they’re so small. I love small bags, though, and every time the subject has come up I’ve continued to tell her that yes, I absolutely still want one.
Recently, I was visiting my parents in another state and decided to stop into the Hermès boutique there. They had a Mini Garden Party on display with the coolest colorful Pegasus on it (pictured in the second image), so while the SA was showing me around I asked two questions: whether they happened to have any Rodeo or Pegasus charms, since my home boutique rarely seems to have them, and what color the Mini Garden Party on display was because it was stunning.
She asked, “Oh, do you like the Mini Garden Party?”
I told her I LOVE them and have been trying to get one, but my SA at home hadn’t been able to find one for me and had told me they were very difficult to get.
She said she thought she might actually have some Mini Garden Parties and asked for my phone number to pull up my account. Before going to the back, she asked what colors I liked. I told her Gold and neutrals were probably my first choices, but I’d absolutely be open to a fun color.
She came back with one box.
She told me the only one she had was gray and asked if I still wanted to see it. I said of course. In my head, I was picturing a light gray.
Then she opened the box…
And I was SO confused. 😂
In the lighting of the private room, it looked almost NAVY BLUE. I love navy, so I immediately loved it. Once we stepped out of the room, suddenly it looked GREEN. Then we started trying different Twillys on it, and I swear every single Twilly made this bag look like an entirely different color.
The color is Gris Misty, and “gray” almost feels like an inadequate description. 😂 It’s such a shape-shifter. Depending on the lighting and what it’s paired with, I see gray, blue, green and even teal tones.
I ended up choosing the Rewilding Nature Twilly for it, and I was absolutely thrilled.
I didn’t have enough room in my suitcase to safely bring the bag home, so the SA shipped it to me. It arrived today, and I had been so excited to finally photograph it and share it here.
And then things got awkward.
I also happened to have an appointment at my home boutique today for a Ready-to-Wear event. While I was there, I made the mistake of mentioning that I’d been offered the Mini Garden Party while visiting the other boutique.
My SA’s immediate response was:
“And you said no, right?”

I told her no. I bought it.
She was genuinely upset with me for purchasing it from another boutique instead of waiting for her to find one for me.
I tried to explain that from my perspective, she’d been telling me for months that Mini Garden Parties were incredibly difficult to get. I’ve also repeatedly told her that I wanted one. So when I happened to walk into another Hermès while traveling and was unexpectedly offered one in a gorgeous color I loved, I thought I was incredibly lucky and should take the opportunity.
I wasn’t shopping around trying to circumvent my SA or calling different boutiques looking for this bag. I happened to be visiting my parents, stopped into the local boutique, mentioned a bag I’ve been trying to find, and they happened to have one.
I still shopped with my regular SA at the RTW event today and made a substantial purchase with her, so I’m not abandoning my home boutique or trying to move my spending elsewhere. She’s still my SA and I fully intended to continue shopping with her.
But now I’m conflicted because what was supposed to be such an exciting bag arrival suddenly feels awkward.
So I genuinely want everyone’s opinions: What would you have done?
If your regular SA had been telling you for months that a particular non-quota bag was extremely difficult to get, and then you unexpectedly walked into another boutique while traveling and were offered that exact bag in a color you loved, would you really have turned it down and gone home empty-handed?
Because I honestly don’t think I would have done anything differently… but I also don’t like that my SA is upset with me.
Anyway, awkward boutique politics aside, I’m obsessed with my little Gris Misty shape-shifter, the Rewilding Nature Twilly, and the gorgeous tri-color Pegasus 💜🤷🏻♀️

I was going to wear it to a dinner party at a members club. Is it too "office" or can I get away with it?
I recently moved out of Australia, but I still visit a few times a year for business, and I usually find time to shop with my SA, who I have a lovely relationship with.
I happen to be in Australia for five days this week, from the 17th to the 21st. Before my trip, I texted my SA to see which day she would be available. She told me she was off on the 18th, but would be available on the 19th and would love to see me as well.
Today, the 18th, I was in the city with nothing much to do, so I decided to drop by Hermès with a friend. I checked for my SA, but obviously she wasn’t there, just as she had mentioned. I was then paired with a different SA, which I didn’t mind at all as I was only planning to look around anyway and was planning to make my purchases with my original SA tomorrow.
The SA I met today asked for my profile when I jokingly asked if they could offer me any bags. They pulled up my profile, looked at it, said “wow,” and, in short, throughout the whole interaction ended up offering me a Kelly To Go, a Mini Herbag, and a Geta without me having to make any additional purchases.
I ended up purchasing the Kelly To Go and Mini Herbag under my account. The Geta had to go under my friend’s account, as I was only allowed to purchase one bag that day.
After the purchase, he gave me his contact details and happily said, “You have a really good profile here in Australia. You should pursue it.”
Now I’m wondering, did I somehow mess up my relationship with my original SA by making these purchases? I genuinely had no intention of purchasing anything in Australia other than through her, especially since I had already planned to see her tomorrow. But at the same time, who am I to turn down three readily available bags, especially when they were offered without requiring me to make any additional purchases?
