Im currently managing Holstein Kiel in the 2.Bundesliga and struggling to promote, although I have really promising players. I believe that conceding less goals and playing defensively can get me trough and let me catch foot in the Bundesliga, but in terms of defensive lineups there are only very few tactics online wich I could base my strategy onto.
Have you ever played a defensive system with success and how would it look? Ball possession based, 3 cbs? I would love some suggestions, thanks in advance.

I'm currently managing a 2. Bundesliga team in my first season. I've made some strong, future-focused transfers and developed a playing style that fits my squad well. Offensively, I rely on a wing-heavy approach to supply crosses to my target man striker, who is excellent in the air.

However, my defense is a massive issue. We concede way too many goals, and after 32 matches, I haven't kept a single clean sheet. I would really appreciate some advice if anyone can spot any major flaws in my formation or tactical instructions. Thanks in advance!
