My first DS 1911/2011.
Thanks to everyone who gave me their input when I was still trying to decide between a DS Warrior and a Prodigy. lol
I just picked this up about an hour ago, haven’t shot it yet but I’m glad I decided to spend the extra money and get the 2k11 instead.
The only downside is constantly feeling the need to wipe down this stainless steel. But it looks so good.
I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times and I've watched videos, but I'm curious to the communities opinions.
First off, I know they're different barrel lengths and one is comp'd, so it's not an entirely fair comparison.
I've currently got a 4.25" Prodigy Comp that's waiting for the weekend to finish processing and ship out. But as I've been waiting, I'm starting to really talk myself out of it and towards the Kimber DS Warrior.
At first I leaned towards the 4.25" barrel for possible carrying, but I don't think I'm going to do that regardless of what I get.
My big thing now is I keep hearing the fit and finish of the Kimber is much better. I don't mind losing out on the comp, I'll eventually send it off for porting.
Btw, this will be my first 1911/DS1911.
