I’m looking to buy another 2011 and I’m on the fence about which model.
I have a Tac Comp and a NOX9 (no issues with either and am loving them both) as well as a DWX and a MPA DS9.
I like ported and comp shot/feel but am not opposed to just a comp and only ports. I’m not generally concerned about the $$ but would like to stay under the Erebus price point.
My considerations:
Sandhawk
Erebus
Reaper
Cardinal Arms G2P
Kovert/Miller Ranger Port/Comp
I’d also take considerations on other 5” models that are relatively easy to obtain. Obviously, the Sandhawk would be second hand as I don’t want to wait 18-24 months.
Thanks in advance for suggestions and feedback on models based on ownership/shooting experience.
Just got done cleaning my Para P13 after yesterday's workout.
Hi all -
Long time 2011 owner and USPSA shooter (M class) that’s had moved away from the platform due to funds but I’m on my way back!
I’ve had a handful of Atlas, Nighthawks, and MPA (among others) and was a 22NRL shooter when I learned that Vudoo also made 2011s. I’m well aware of the history, VC involvement, move and drama but I’m curious….
Does Vudoo make a decent 2011 in 2026?
How’s quality, consistency, support, etc?
Couple of years ago when I had an ares while I was out at the range I threw the ares slide/barrel on my Nyx, which luckily fit, and fell in love with a 4.25” ported with a steel frame. Then atlas intro’d the Eos. Got my hands on the one beginning of the year. Ran an idpa match with the Eos and the mag changes were tough, I’m still new to competitive shooting so I also suck. But then I saw someone somewhere swapped their atlas Eos or ares grip so I did the same with my Eos and Nyx. The Alpha grip on the Eos is perfect for me in idpa. The Nyx with the Eos grip for carry purposes is fantastic. Yes it’s heavy but doesn’t bother me. Nyx is still the sexiest non SVI 4.25” 2011 imo.
Recently picked up this Kimber 2K11 on a trade.
Previous owner mounted a 507 Comp on the pistol. It feels pretty rock solid, but I noticed there is a noticeable gap between the gun, the optic, and the plate.
It almost looks like the optic plate is bending, is this normal with the factory C&H plates or did the previous owner just not know what he is doing?
With the sightmark minishot m4

I’ve been competing in IDPA, USPSA & GPA for several years with a MPA DS9 IDPA V1 with the V6 ports and an Atlas Athena. Does the DS9 IDPA V2 with a compensator offer a significant upgrade to either of those pistols? I’ve got the itch to try something different.
Wonder if anyone tried Tenicor Certum Lux4 with Olight PL-X yet ? does it kinda fit but not secure or does it actually click into space and secure? Some said with bigger spacer would fit but i don't want it to be loose and just sitting in there, thanks for your help.
In light of recent events Fowler has introduced a new site and a new model. The Synth Vel (which looks amazing) is 6k base and if you choose a steel grip that's an additional 750 so you're getting a non-comped non ported gun for $6,750.
I don't know if it's just me but that's kinda fucking whack. There's so many options that will shoot better at that price point and I'm just kind of tired of getting high $$$ guns with nothing new to show for it.
I'm running through some ammo and it's been a pleasure to shoot!
