I really like this gun. Getting used to the recoil impulse and balance but it’s a sweet shooter. It has a soft impulse.
I upgraded to the Infinity HD trigger, big difference. Race gun feel.
Cardinal Arms absolutely nailed the island barrel game! The slide to island fitment is incredible - barely noticeable seam!

Wondering if I should get this or buy the romulus or prodigy.
Was dead set to get a Core but after further research I really do like the RC9 5in ported. The Core I wanted so I can eventually get into competition shooting as it has no ports and I like the 4.6in, it gives the gun a purpose. As for the RC9 ported 5in, just looks like so much fun and I always wanted a ported or comped 2011 type gun that is truly done by hand but not sure what purpose it would fill besides just being a blast to shoot. I am probably missing something, what do you all do with your ported and comped 2011's(do not know much about competitive shooting just hear USPSA LO all the time)? Will the Core be so nice that I won't regret not getting the RC9? The RC9 is local but the Core I would have to have it shipped.
Really want something commander length in FDE to add to the collection. Shown: Apache Commander, COS21, P211 GT4
Which would you pick and anything else I should consider in FDE?
Trying to stay at 3.5k max otherwise I would get a Fowler, NightHawk or a RC9C in FDE. That will need to wait. Want something to scratch the itch prior.
I already own a few 2011’s but want something in FDE for range and winter EDC.
Own: Kimber pro comp + ports, Kimber pro minotaur, staccato cs, hd3.6, hd 4.5 w comp, P w chunk port, RC9 5” ported, Alpha Foxtrot 4.25” ported and comped, sig p211 gto, Bul Armory UL Pro, STI Brazos custom 5”.
The black one i posted yesterday came out nicer looking but this one is also super cool.
Just got a call from the company I mailed my slide to have DLC coating done on my slide after finally getting all the porting and slide cuts I wanted prior saying that they received a retaped and empty box. Im at a loss, basically my gun is lost at this point as the manufacturer does not sell replacement part so I can't source another slide yet alone the money and time that has gone into it. Two different shops for the porting and engravings and cuts and now its all gone. What a disaster, idk why I'm posting this just wanted to share.
I’d like to know your opinion on whether or not you would go with the Bul Tac Comp or RCD RC9 ported? Which would keep better value if you end up selling in the future?

I currently have a kimber 2k11 pro comp , staccato HD P4 ,Atlas Apollo v3 , Dark Forge Reaper x Kovert
I’m consider adding the atlas erebus or the sand viper next. For those who have experience with both , which one add more variety to the collection or any other 1911 ds that you would recommend ?
I’m already way to deep down the 2k11 rabbit hole, could use some input before i go deeper 😆
So I have tried pretty much every medium thread locker on the market to get this AOS plate to work on this damn gun. Last time I installed it was 873rds and I just noticed today that it was loose at 1507rds. Optic to plate is holding strong, plate to gun is what’s giving me issues. If anyone knows what I can do outside of getting a staccato or RCD Core or whatever, I’m all ears. Plate suggestions, screw suggestions, process suggestions, whatever. I have one ace in my pocket and that is to bed the plate to the gun, use red loctite, and then stake the plate over the screws. I am pretty much married to RMR pattern anyway so that won’t be an issue. Pic for your time.
Guy can’t shoot.
I mean 5 inline ports and a massive chunk port… for a steel frame 9mm?!?
I know people were wanting more for the V3s and think the changes that were all pretty minor, especially given the price increase. I tend to agree but I think the improvements made to the Alpha grip are underrated. The V2 was never my favorite grip but it was good. The new undercut and improved ergos of the V3 grip are awesome. So much more comfortable for my hands.
I also think the improved feed ramp is slept on. I’ll never hate on improvements that make a gun more reliable.
The Glock front sight is nice. The ability to remove it with the little tool is great.
Just wish they’d include some premium mags with my near 7k gun.
