I have two holsters from Bitterroot now, and I couldn’t be happier. Caleb does phenomenal work. Worth the money and wait. IMO
I have one for my P4X and the other for the Heritage P or Viper.

Picked up another Nighthawk Sand Hawk this week. Huge shoutout to Scheels for selling it at MSRP instead of marking it up.
As a business owner myself, I completely understand adjusting prices based on the current market.
But like they told me, their cost hasn’t gone up, so they’re passing those savings on to their customers. I really respect that approach, especially on a high demand firearm.

My pops 1911 was what got me hooked on shooting. I still enjoy shooting my dad’s single stack 45 1911.
I was browsing the other night and came across these Cheely magwells on Speed Shooters International, so I decided to pick them up. I’ve been doing some dry-fire reloads with both of them, and so far I’m liking each one.
For those of you with experience running either of these magwells, what are your thoughts.

I received my much-anticipated order from the recent u/AtlasGunworks Perfect Zero restock today… Well,kinda..
Unfortunately, the grip panels and triggers I ordered weren’t in the package. I had to file a claim, which is frustrating.
Did anyone else order anything from the latest Atlas Gunworks restock? If so, did everything arrive without any issues?
At least I got the two gun foam insert, damaged but I got it.

This thing is fast, accurate, and fun to shoot. Great return to zero. I get good follow up shots because of this.. It's become one of my favorite striker-fired pistols, whether I'm carrying it or taking it to the range.
Excited that Zev is making and selling the long slides again.
Monday Musings
Atlas Gunworks pistols are tried and true. I completely understand buying what you’ve already had experience with or what has proven itself over time. We’re often hesitant to try something new and I get it.
That said, I’m really glad I bought the Dark Forge Reaper (ported and comped).
Mine came with a second, non-ported/non-comped barrel, which is a great bonus. The craftsmanship, design, fit, and finish are all top-notch. But what impressed me most was its shootability. Even for newer shooters, this pistol is incredibly easy to run well.
I let a couple of guys who were taking a new shooters course put a magazine through it, and they were genuinely impressed. Both shot excellent groups and commented on how controllable it felt.
@darkforgefirearms may be a newer name, but the people behind it aren’t new to the industry. They were formerly known as Rogue Tactical, so they’ve been building quality firearms for quite some time.
And, as usual, @masonbing came through in the clutch. In fact, both of these pickups came from @modern.warriors in Utah. HC was done by DSC.
SRO looks great on both of these beauties.

This is the Dark Forge Reaper with both the ported/comped barrel and the additional non-ported barrel, giving me the best of both worlds.
I can’t wait to get it out to the range and see how it performs.
I’ve shot the Wraith before and was really impressed, so I’m excited to see how the Reaper compares.
Picked this up used for $1,300 yesterday and finally got to put a few rounds through it today.
Man, I’m impressed.
I really like the in-line ports, and the trigger feels great. My only complaint is the Cerakote. It looks good, but it seems to pick up dirt and carbon pretty quickly.
I ran both 115-grain and 124-grain Super Vel Certified Select without a single issue. Overall, I’m really happy with the purchase.
This is only the second striker-fired S&W I’ve owned, and it’s definitely leaving a good impression. Now I’m looking at either the 5-inch polymer model or the new 5-inch HD. I shot a friend’s 5-inch polymer with an Apex trigger and barrel, and that was an excellent setup.
I have a good sized eclectic collection just never got into the S&W products.
I got a call about this UL Pro for sale yesterday.
I remember chasing down my first UL Pro for almost a year before I was finally able to find one on their website, so seeing this opportunity come up was hard to ignore.
I know the previous owner. He had a family emergency and needed the money, only reason he sold it.
The pistol has about 100 rounds through it.
I’m really liking the Vortex optic. My original Pro has an EPS on it, so it’ll be fun to spend some time comparing the two. Jury is still out on the optic. I do like the window size of the Vortex. Headed to the range now.
I enjoy shooting them both. I took the P4X down and cleaned it before taken it out to the range so the P4 got a cleaning too.
Gonna try the Infinity trigger for HD’s on the P4X next week. Just wanted to put some rounds through it with the original one.
Picked up these stands at a local gun show.
This is one of my favorite striker fired pistols that I own. I actually enjoy shooting this one over some of my 1911DS/2011’s. This V2 model with the upgraded Gen 5 internals/barrel and Gen 3 recoil system was worth the wait. I picked it up last year from Xtreme from Houston. Just pulled the trigger and ordered the Longboi Long slide kit. They only had the DPP but I figured I’d finally get to try out a Vortex XL optic.
I know a lot of people said that they weren’t going to buy it, but they did. Sold out by 12:50 a.m.??

Took some of my favorite non-ported pistols to the range today: the Athena, TTI Viper, and Nighthawk TRS Commander.
All three shot phenomenally.
I ran 124gr Blazer Brass and 124gr Winchester NATO through them. Zero issues with feeding, firing, or extracting.
The only downside was being reminded just how dirty of those loads can be.
That said, I’ll keep buying and shooting them because the price is hard to beat and they’ve been reliable for me.

Been busy the past couple of weeks, but I finally made it back home. I took my stock TTI Viper and my ported Noveske G19X build with me, and I still very much enjoy my striker-fired pistols.
I also brought the Gun Butter pen, and it ended up being the perfect size for the trip.
Wilson Combat oil and Lucas Oil are what I’ve preferred in the past, but the convenience of the pen really stood out.
I was able to get in two range sessions, and both guns ran flawlessly. I shot 124-grain Supervel Certified Select on both occasions without a single issue. So far, this ammo has been 100% reliable for me.
My C2 is an easy choice for me. It can be a carry, range, or nightstand gun. Just put the PMM Comp back on there today because it’s going to the range for some fun, then I’ll put it on my nightstand for the next few weeks. Solid and easy choice for a do-it-all type gun. IMO
MJD grip, red dirt trigger, EGW internals and ports were done by Hibiscus Tactical, solid work and even better person.
