After a few hours on the range today I stapled up this B8 and walked back to 25 yards. This pistol is spectacular. (And I wouldn't worry about that little guy down there in the 8 ring).

Yup. It’s an old Kimber CDP. Last time I owned one was 20+ years ago and I wished I hadn’t traded it away. Anyway, GB score for under 6 bills shipped and now I have one again. Like buying back a piece of my 1911 past. This one is seemingly unused over the last 25+ years.

1911s are fun as hell with a can. Spectre 9k is a nice light can on this 9mm Nighthawk AAC. So fun.
Even if they are fancy or expensive shoot them. Carry them. Beat them around a little. It’s their job.

It’s simply outstanding in every conceivable way. Rob and Tori are a dynamic duo. I adopted it used and it’s perfection. The model is called the Imperium. Has a Chen gen 2 Magwell. Blended perfectly. It’s DLC and satin smooth. Amazing dehorn. Really firm fit barrel. Outstanding trigger.
It’s exactly 3lb. A very crisp and defined wall. Frankly better than most of my custom 1911s and I have too many. This kit is way too expensive, but the results are rather outstanding.
Terry Tussey was quite the talented gunsmith. This Colt is a stealth comp, with all the checkering and hard chrome you could want.
Wilson still makes an awesome comp gun when they want to.
