Fanfics about plurality or age regression

Hello, can someone recc me fanfics about age regression or about characters that aren't systems in canon having alters? I want to read about things I relate to.

Preferrably 7k or under, give or take. I don't have a lot of time so shorter fics are easier for me.

A fun story

So, a long while ago I made a post about an Iron Lung fanfic I read. Iron Lung is a horror movie the youtuber Markiplier made after the horror game by David Szymanski, and it's a fandom I'm in.

So, the fanfic I talked about? It's an interpretation where the protagonist of the movie, called Simon, is plural. I thought it was really creative! And we felt represented too!

We went to check the latest chapter and found out one of the author's friend is introjecting all the characters from it - all of Simons' headmates in the fanfic. I followed the author on tumblr (but I don't use it much) and just found out, because she posts it in a tag for the fic.

On one hand, I thought that was a bit unfortunate especially given how the latest chapter went. Introjecting is not exactly something someone can control, and it did make me scared of reading it lest the same happens to us /joke. (I'm not serious dw. our splitting threshold is low). And I wonder if it's awkward, to technically introject a friend's oc. On the other hand, I defended it's a good fanfic before on matters of representation, and I still do. I think this is probably proof.

I thought I'd post about that, cause even so, it made us all weirdly happy. It feels like plurality is more normalized in our iron lung fandom circles now, thanks to being able to show that fanfic to our friends. (Not that they read it, it's kinda long, but it's a good conversation opener lololol). If you're in the fandom, you should check it out. It's called Afterimage.
