Following the trend of Aerocanos I wanted to share my aerated cappuccino. I have been doing this occasionally for quite some time to all milk based drinks. The recipe is simple:

Pour the appropriate amount of cold milk into the steaming pitcher, if wanted sugar can also be directly added the cold milk. Run the appropriate espresso for the drink directly into the cold milk and steam it after that to the desired temperature and texture. Be careful while steaming, I find that the mix does create larger bubbles way easier than pure milk so I advise to only have the nozzle as close to the surface as possible while still inducing steam.

I used this recipe for cortado, flat whites and cappuccinos, the drink it creates does taste different than the regular drink and is rounder, smoother and has a different more creamy texture to it.

If anyone is interested in the specifics of the drink on the picture, here they are:
Light roast columbian espresso beans, cofermented with apricots. Single-shot with 12g in and 28g out in about 30s, 120ml of cold milk.
