My 3 year old daughter has what looks like a cavity to me. But I have no real clue. Her dentist said it was just calcification. But the dental assistant said it looks like a cavity to her.

I wanted to get some opinions here. I also wanted to see how big of an issue this is since it’s baby teeth.

We brush her teeth every night and we even floss. My wife has teeth that constantly get cavities even though she’s almost obsessive about her dental hygiene so I wonder if that got passed down.
