Removing Stump Near Japanese Maple
We have a beautiful old Japanese Maple in front of our house, but there is a dead tree stump nearby that we'd like to remove so we can plant other things/avoid attracting termites. I started digging it out but noticed roots wrapped around the stump - are these Japanese Maple roots? Will removing the stump damage the JM?
