I've been playing games on my android phone ever since I downloaded Angry Birds back in 2008 or 2009.
These days I play a few more games and as much as I understand the need to have ads in the game from time to time (either to keep the game free or to help me get a power-up or something), in the last year or so, I started seeing more and more of those annoying ads to all kinds of things - Chair Tai-Chi, 'Natural' pain killers/healers, jewelry, dog training apps, etc.
It's the worst kind of AI - when the 'people' talk they pronounce every letter (they mouth movement it way too exaggerated), the text are almost the same in every kind of ad but the worst thing is that it all feels really shady and unreliable. I've seen politicians who were more reliable... seriously.
All are clearly AI, without any option to silence the ad and when I click on the 'Not Interested' button it has the same effect as yelling at the sun - non what so ever.
Is there any way to control what kind of ads I see? I can (reluctantly) bare ads for other games, Fast food and so on, as long as I can silence them (and pretend I didn't see them... ;-)).
But those AI ads are driving me crazy.
Any thoughts?
