Stuck in permanent "We suspect automated behavior" loop
My "Instagram" account has completely stopped working. I am constantly hit with the "We suspect automated behavior on your account" screen. When I press the "Dismiss" button, it just instantly reloads the exact same window. Logging in via a web browser doesn't work either—the page gets stuck in an infinite loop and crashes with the "ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS" error. I have only used the official applications on Android. There are no viruses on my phone. As for web browsers, I only logged in once—3 days ago from my PC just to scroll through the feed, and that’s it. I haven't uploaded any Reels or photos recently. This issue first flashed about a week ago simultaneously in Instagram and Thrеаds, but back then, I was able to close the warning. Recently, I posted a reply to a thread in Thеаds that blew up completely (gaining over 100,000 views). A day later, this bug started again, but this time it's totally locked up. Interestingly, Thrеаds itself is working completely fine right now (I haven't checked the account via Meta VR glasses yet).
It didn't help: Left the account completely untouched for a 24-hour cooldown, Changed my password, Cleared all cookies/cache in Chrome and cleared the app data on my phone, Tried logging in via different networks and various VPN services.
Is it possible that Meta's algorithms mistakenly flagged me as a bot simply due to the sudden traffic spike (100k+ views) from Тhrеаds? What can I even do in this situation if the dismiss button is broken and I couldn't find any way to contact support?
