Nature Work

I live in North Florida and have always enjoyed environmental sciences, I have only an AA though.

I am always open to learning and working hard I just want to be outside and on my feet.

The job I have now has a great flexible schedule where I basically make my own schedule and work when I want for how long and so on. but I just don't feel fulfilled you know? It's just sales.

So I guess my question is where do I start? I want to be proud in the work i do and make a difference in the future. what kinds of jobs do you guys have that is like this, that you feel really fulfill you?

Where do i go?

I have been in wine and spirit sales for about 5 or 6 years now and i just see the writing on the wall, and my company is fucking us all sideways.

Pros: I really enjoy the freedom of having a route and making my own schedule and not being forced to be anywhere for 8 hours because it's a 9to5. If i want to start later i can, if i want to work longer so i can have a short day tomorrow I can. I can work as slow or fast as I want so long as i get the work done and none of my accounts complain I'm fine. It's great i don't want to lose that aspect.

I'm just not sure where i can transfer my sales skills to make more money, not even sure I want to do sales anymore. I'm too honest of a person to decieve them into buying shit they don't need and maybe thats why i have such good relations with my accounts.

anyone leave sales before? where did you go? what is the work life balance like and the pay? I just want to do work that makes me feel proud, not sell alcohol to alcoholics. I want to be outside and making a difference in the world and I really enjoy nature. I just need money as well. Just sort of lost. All I have is an AA.

Any Ideas? Suggestions, life experiences? I'm a good learner and worker i can put my head down and be behind the scenes and get it done. don't really like public speaking or being the center of attention I just want to be a silent workhorse and feel proud in it.
