It's a franckenstein project but still xD

Terra 1550 laptop converted as homelab !

I recovered it from the bin (battery has inflated so much it breaks the plastic cover of it, the cooler was fucked also ( and the screen was completely destroyed too)

It has a i7 8th gen paired with 2x8gb in ddr4

I repared the cooler by soldering data + and data - from the last to a newer more powerfull and less noisy, i add a dissipator on the first one and another one to the cpu itself ! I even add a dissipator to the NVME drive !

A bit of hot glue, 1sata hdd and another connected to USB !

Proxmox on the ssd, first hdd to host my pct/vms and the second as backup !

Low consumption and lf course a free "laptop" with 16gb ddr4, and boom, free server !

I would LOVE to make a true plastic cover/custom case for it in 3d print, but too broke to buy one..

Hey! So I buyed this lens for cheap, but i cant find on the internet any advice to get the right adapter since I dont know what mount it is..

I thought of a T-2, didn't work, here the pic the actual adapter fixed to it, and the diameter of each of the lens and the adapter,

Idk what to do anymore x)

It's not m42, it's not MD, and not even T-2..

You can see on the pics that the "adapter" mounted to it is locked by three little screws

Could someone help me please, I can send more pictures with the filetage and else 🙏🏻

( I just want to know what is the name of the back of the lens, I could go with M42, or direct to E-mount id love to mount it on my A7ii )

I tested so many lenses, but those are my favorites !

The 28-135 f4-4.5 for everyday uses

The 50mm f1.7 and 100mm macro f2.8 for portrait ( and macro )

The 70-210 f4 "beercan" for sport and else

The 100-300 apo when I dont want a long and so heavy lens as the beercan in my bag

And the 20mm f2.8 for astrophoto and else !

And of course my a7ii, nex 3n ( will replace it with an a5100 )

I tested a lot of other lenses of course, but sell those i didn't like !

I'd just wanted to thanks yall, I started with my A35, then go to a A65, buy a nex6 with la ea4, then sell those for my a7ii

Love the parcour to get allat and of course taking amazing pictures with all of theses!

So haha it started with the 18-55 sam, then oh, let's go to get a 75-300 and of course it didn't stop there x)
