The barrel proof single barrel select, was actually a mistake and I’m glad it happened. I ordered the original JD single barrel select on go puff for $42.
When I received my order delivery driver scanned my ID and when he left I opened my bag to see they had given me the Barrel proof version, double check to see if I accidentally paid the $65 for the barrel proof and low and behold, I only paid $42 and they gave me the barrel proof on accident.
Best accident that has occurred, I was alway off put thinking a high proof bourbon would be to over powering and man was I wrong. So much flavor, of caramel, toasted oak, almost a spicy cream, and a beautiful soft long finish.
