If i commission an artist, did i make the art?

No, no i’m not. I am very curious to see what pros think of this, considering it is almost exactly the same process (prompt -> refinement -> output). Don’t get me wrong, i’m fine with people generating ai, but calling themselves “artists”?

Some of these posts by witty are just absolutely nonsensical - of course people who are already on the pro-ai side are going to fall further into it due to confirmation bias, but when the confirmation is just false information, where does it get to the point where we call it propaganda? I get that my response is perhaps exaggerated due to awe at the absurdity of the post, but I honestly feel sorry for those on the pro-ai side that believe this. And for clarity, no, a character that simple will not look like this after years - coming from a character designer :)

This is possibly the best meilong that has ever been made - and here’s how i did it:

Extras needed:

40x 3x1.5 n35-n50 magnets
Rs3m v5 ballcore (can be ordered alone on picubeshop)
Rs3m v5 Springs (not too crucial)
Superglue

Tutorial:

  1. Replace the stock core with a ballcore (image 1)
  2. Glue the magnets into the corner stalk - double stack magnets if it’s too weak (image 2/3)
  3. Double stack the magnets in the edges (image 4)
  4. Assemble and spring swap (image 5)
  5. Enjoy!! - you now have that plush meilong feel in a top performing cube
