After much debate between my partner and I, we decided to keep our Kauai honeymoon and will be heading out Oct 15th-22nd. We really wanted to hike but are aware that it may not be possible due to hurricane damage. We were hoping to get some recommendations of locally owned businesses and also interested in maybe doing some excursions. We are very adventurous and understand hiking may not be part of our plans but we flexible and just want to enjoy our stay while being respectful and supportive to local business. Additionally, I did see on social media that we are allowed to take out a shelter doggie for a day is that still a thing?
