I am currently experimenting with and exploring ESPhome and Home Assistant with my ESP32C3. I have a raspberry pi that I was going to use as the server for the ESP32C3 nodes to communicate with, but a friend of mine who is doing a similar project told me about how he plans on using Vercel, a website provider, as a subsitute for the raspberry pi. I was wondering if this is a path worth persuing instead of the traditional way, and whether or not it has any advantages or disadvantages. I'm a bit new to ESPhome and Home Assistant and I'd appreciate a bit of insight from somebody with some more knowledge and experience with these tools. Thanks for your time!
