Hi everyone. Im new here

Long story short, I am back in the hobby after 12 years of pause because our local track was shot down. Now, a new fresh track is opened in my local town and I would like to get back in the game, however I noticed that my gear is not up to date anymore.

I saw that everyone runs RWD now, I still have awd with CS, the cars that were new and the flagships back then. I have 2 3Racing Sakura D3CS and 2 Eagle Racing OTA R31. I have upgraded them bit by bit back then to be the best gear available on the market. I will upload pics.

Now the questions I have would be:

1. What RWD chassis is the best nowadays? ( Considering I still have to learn to drive RWD so I dont need the most expensive but I would like something that I can learn and get better with ) I heard about Yokomo RD or MD or MST RMX.

2. Are there any parts from my old cars that I can still use? Apart from wheels and bodies. I have Tekin ESC + Engine on all of them ( 8.5T if I remember ). I have Spektrum DX4R Pro and Sanwa MT4 as radio commands. I saw that lipo batteries are different too now.

Sorry for any mistakes but I am currently NOT up to date with this hobby anymore.

Hey all, after seeing the clips online of that one person using this contraption I bought the files and printed one for myself. I got to test it at my local this weekend for the first time and I am very happy with it.

Hello everyone, I just bought my first rc drift car off someone on Facebook marketplace who gave up building their car. After a few hours of trouble shooting I got all the electronics to work, but the next biggest issue is the paint! Any advice on saving this body?

(There are more issues with overspray on the front and the rear has spots of the black paint)

Alright, I just wanted to do a final update post regarding my experience with RC Plate Shop. For those of you who havent seen the post, its here . Anyways, my bank had my money back within the day which means it certainly counted as theft. At least to them. So I'll say it again, I would not suggest buying at RC Plate Shop. No matter the quality. This could have happened to anyone.

That being said, on one of my post I did manage to find Charlie's RC Garage , they make metal plates, a set of two 1/10 scale plates with tracking info was $12!! I will upload photos after they come in but have the photo above before shipment. I am so impressed with the professionalism right from the start. My order was custom designed, made and ready to go with tracking, and I am not exaggerating, less than 30 minutes. The gentleman I was speaking to was also super helpful and friendly which is huge in my book!

Screenshot should speak for itself but yeah. This guy is absolutely horrible about customer relations. I was just looking for an update, and after seeing him deleting comments on Facebook I was getting concerned. Reached out about a chargeback and he literally blocked me. Still no plates. I do not recommend them AT ALL. That being said, does anyone have some good recommendations for RC plate sellers?

Here is a set of Work Equip 40 I printed and fully finished last night. Design is available on Cults3D under Oversliders_Drift_Works

The finish is Alsa Corp Easy Chrome FX on the barrels, Tamiya Light Gunmetal faces, tire ring is Tamiya Black with Semi Gloss Clear

Next on the bench will be the pair of Equip 03 I already chromed. Got to figure out a color for the faces.
