Older EcoWater RO System Worth Servicing or Better to Replace?

We just moved into a house that already has an under-sink reverse osmosis system installed. The tanks and filter canisters look pretty dirty and dusty, and honestly it seems like the system may not have been used for months ...maybe even years.

The brand is EcoWater and the model is ERO-312E. From what I’ve found online so far, it looks like it’s one of the older models.

I’m not very handy, so I was thinking about hiring someone to come service it, sanitize it, and replace the filters. But I’m not sure if it’s even worth it at this point. I also read that replacement filters for older EcoWater systems can be pretty expensive.

Would you keep and service an older RO system like this, or just replace it with a newer one? New systems seem to be well over $2K, which feels a bit steep.

Completely new to this, so any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
