Final year student here with PPO offer. My two cents for all the Freshers coming to KIIT this year-
You'll meet all kinds of people. Choose your circle carefully. The people you spend the most time with will influence your habits, mindset, and ambitions more than you realize.
Your network matters. And that includes seniors, hostel administration, TnP and even the teachers. Even the most strict teachers would be willing to help you if you are in their good books
Your college isn't responsible for getting you placed. It's your job to look after. Do everything you can(9+ CGPA + DSA + Projects) to maximize your chances and never miss any opportunity(Hackathons, OSS, tech summits, meetups).
The resources are there. What you do with them is up to you.
Finally my nearing unemployment ended after I got the offer. The offer came to me back in April though.
Context- I am a CS Major(Class of 2027). My whole third year was spent applying for jobs and getting ghosted or rejected. Just when I was accepting the fact that I would be without an internship before my year ends, I got the offer (internship + PPO), a week before my end-sems.
P.S- Parents came to pick me up when I returned.
Finally I can rest(not in peace) or maybe not.
