I love my tree, bought it August of last year. And honestly bought a lemon, needed cats, a motor, suspension work, and honestly a wrap and new front seats 🤣 I’ve done the cats and the motor swap, I’m in it about 7k for those items (thanks California). I just spent $1600 in suspension parts basically new front end and rear shocks only. Still needs fresh shoes, probably another $2500 when I’m done with those. Wife just keeps shaking her head and showing me clean sequoias for like 10k. I guess it’s the curse of being a car guy. I’ll probably be in this thing 20k by the time I’m done. The build has been pretty fun so far, the only thing I haven’t done myself is the cats. Any suggestions for making this tree look clean once I’ve done all the upgrades? Should I just wrap the fender flares, bumpers, mirrors, and door handles? Should I try to take on a fresh paint job myself? Someone give me some bad ideas 🤣

I have a 2002 Sequoia SR5 that has a bad passenger exhaust manifold. I’m thinking about doing it myself to save the 1200 in labor. I know the head studs have a tendency to break causing issues. I’ve done motor swaps and wrenched on my own stuff my entire life. Is there anything I’m not thinking about here? I have a plan for getting the old one taken apart and off the vehicle without snapping anything. Just looking for some advice or any tips and tricks y’all who have done this may have.
