What are these worth on the secondary market?

Curious what the factory take-off TRD Pro Sequoia wheels and tires are worth on the secondary market? They have 550 miles on them.

I’ve decided my 2nd gen 21 trd pro

I’ve decided to sell my 21 sequoia trd pro, has 119000 miles, good condition, a couple small scuffs (door scratches) but nothing out of the ordinary. I do not have a documented maintenance history since i purchased it 3 yrs ago (I have done the service at home. Oil changes at 5000. I did a transmission drain and fill last service). Runs strong, everything works as it should. $45000 obo. Located in Chesapeake, Va

2008 Sequoia 4x4 SR5 with 235k miles.

Hey everyone,

I’m looking at buying a 2008 Sequoia SR5 4WD with 235,000 miles on the odometer.

The seller is asking $8500. Visually, the vehicle looks like it is in good condition, and the interior/exterior seem well taken care of. However, the mileage is obviously up there.
Before I pull the trigger and take it to a mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection (PPI), I wanted to get your take on the price.

Is $8500 a fair price in the current market for a 4th gen with this mileage?

Aside from the notorious frame rust, are there any specific 2008 problem areas or costly maintenance items I should look out for at 235k miles?

Appreciate any advice or feedback you can give. Thanks!

Picked up today

Love it, can’t stop grinning going down the road and already had the neighborhood teenagers out for drives already. Read all the reviews and know there are small issues but nothing else scratched the itch.

2002 Toyota Sequoia inner tie rod OEM part insanely expensive

Moog has the inner and outer tie rod kit for about $130. I'm finding the inner tie rod OEM part set for about 6 to $700. I'm not willing to pay that much. I have heard bad things about moog lately. What say you?

Just picked it up!

Kind of a general question but is the fan supposed to sound like a f**cking jet/giant vacuum in first gear and then go all normal after? I don’t have any coolant temp issues. Kinda interesting to me coming from ls400s (1&2uz)

Turning radius Sequoia

I have a brand new 2026 Sequoia TRD Pro and am extremely disappointed with the turning radius. Is there anything anyone has done to improve it? Or it is what it is.

300000 Mile Check-In

Just rolled over 300k a couple days ago; I guess I now drive a high mileage hero! Couple updates for anyone wondering how it’s doing/debating buying soon (plus my dog judging my work).

The good:
- Starts up, runs, drives, electronics all work as expected, and I still have yet to have a complaint about the vehicle itself.
- Oil pressure is still solid, it seemed to really appreciate swapping to 10w30 in the hotter months here in SC.
- I have yet to have any transmission related problems; even while towing it sits happy at 203F and unloaded usually around 196F.
- OEM air bags in the back are still leak-free (amazing I know), if anyone who tows is debating deleting the bags I strongly recommend against it. Auto level is a flex. For lifted/off-road guys; up to your preference.
- Finally solved a weird hum/vibration I was getting going on/off the throttle. Replaced the DR axle and driveshaft roller bearings; no further issues.

The bad:
- Front cover and rear main are leaking, not enough to really show on the dipstick, but enough to annoy me and need fixing. I’ll replace timing chains and tensioners at the same time as the front cover reseal; I’m leaving the rear main alone until I absolutely have to mess with it.
- Suspension is starting to feel too work-truck like for me. It’s not dangerous, but I need to start replacing some big ticket items and I’m not looking forward to strut replacement with the leveling system.
- Paint/exterior plastics aren’t pumped about existence but I’m not really a stickler there. Also still better than a brand new Ford Raptor or similar….
- The X-Comp tires I purchased are still unbalanced and it drives me nuts. I’ll probably swap rims/tires in the future but keep the same fitment & size.

Looking back at it; I feel very good about buying a high-mileage but maintained SUV vs a low-mileage city driven vehicle. I would like to keep this one around until 1000000 miles but we’ll see how that goes.

Along the Pacific Coast Highway...

My family and I took our tree on it's very first out of town AND camping trip. Camped in Manresa for a whole week, went to Swanton Berry Farm to do the u-pick and the drive along that Pacific Coast highway was just lovely.

Before we left, the entire front suspension was replaced. Got an alignment. Handled like a dream. And the strawberries were very sweet and delicious.

Just wanted to share my 3rd gen

24’ Limited. Picked it up about 3 months ago.

Running a Dobinsons IMS 3”/2” setup with stock weight springs, Method MR321s wheels +18 offset, and Bridgestone Dueler AT Ascents in LT295/70/R18.

Really happy with the Dobinsons, the ride is firm but smooth and super compliant, feels way better than stock. Bumps and cracks in the road just get absorbed with no jarring-ness to it, almost plush if that makes sense. I think the Bridgestones helps the ride quality as well, as they are a road first AT. I’m not doing serious off-roading, maybe a couple light trails a year so these fit the bill.

Went back and forth on the Bridgestones and size before pulling the trigger but not bad imo. Lighter by about 10lbs compared to other tires in this size and pretty quiet as well. Highly recommend them if you spend the majority of the time on the road like me. Will see how they do out on the trail and this winter since they are 3PMS rated.

Love the look of the Method MR321’s, went with gloss black instead of matte for a little more pop and just a little poke with +18 offset.

Overall, couldn’t be happier and just wanted to share!

TRD off road - fair price 6800 miles 2026

I am looking at this 2026 with 6800 miles. Original price tag attached. What would be a fair buy price for it? Prior owner didn’t like the payments. Thanks!

Will 285/70R18 Tires for a 60mm offset wheel fit on 2nd Gen

Looking for some advice. I’m a new Sequoia owner (2010 Limited) and I need new tires. I figured I should therefore just upgrade my wheels. I have found some TRD Pro BBS Forged 18” wheels with a 60mm offset I would like to add. They come with lightly used 285/70/R18 tires. I’m wondering if anyone has added these to their stock Sequoia 2nd Gen without needing any extra modifications. Any direction would be super helpful. Thanks in advance for any advice and direction.

Discount tire employee asked “why not a 4Runner?”

New wheels and tires mounted yesterday. Also got 5% tint all around and 50% on windshield. If there is anybody in dfw looking for 20 inch platinum rims. I have a full set with spare.
