Just a friendly reminder to check your rack and pinion bushings!
If you have steering slop it may not be tie rods, in my case the rack mount bushings were barely holding on!

Just changed my radiator in 2002 and thermostat. Was burping the air and had gold flakes show up. New water pump last year no issues with overheating. Any idea what it be?
Looking for help. 2010 Limited. Rear hatch will not open using button on dash. Sounds like it wants to, but then it stops. Only opens manually. Will close unassisted either using the button in the cargo area or the dash. Any insight is appreciated.
Hello,
We got the 2026 Sequoia TRD and we cant do much offroad due to the lower front plastic. We have a ranch with wetland in FL. There are water streams that we would like to cross but entrance and exit are not even terrain and its kind of high terrain
The lower plastic is way to close to the ground, we need to have some space so we can climb the univen terrain.
Can it be removed? What people do? I dont get the TRD capability if I cant use it in univen terrain.
What people usally do?
I've pulled some utility trailers with this before but finally pulled the trigger on a UTV for the family and took it up north (Wisconsin) for the 4th. 4hrs to the cabin each way and it was such an easy pull. The torque on these engines is fantastic!
Looking to upgrade to a larger vehicle for our family and am set on a Sequoia. We settled on a 18 Limited with 74k miles, great service records and very little rust for about $40k. Part of me things this is a great deal and we’ll have it forever, the other part thinks it’s too much. What do you think?
I've read after mid 2011 through 2022, Sequoias didn't have a transmission cooler. Even if it said it has one on the build sheet, it only refers to the 'hockey puck' heat exchanger mounted to the transmission itself which isn't really a great 'cooler'.
Does anyone have a 2012-2022 Sequoia with a trans cooler in the condenser or external cooler as part of some tow package? I've seen some people say theirs does but maybe they are referring to the hockey puck as mentioned above or a special package.
I have a 2011
Looking to stick to around $750 but am for sure willing to spend a bit more if necessary. I just can't justify dropping $1,400+ on tires which wipes out a lot of the selection.
I am going on vacation in a month and really need a new set before we go. No towing whatsoever, mostly highway/city to and from work, I just want something all season and decent to get me by for a couple years.
First set I had on the car were on it from the dealership and the current set was from marketplace I picked up cheap to get me thru winter and now those are getting sketch lol I hate the fact I can see Lincoln's whole dome it's not ideal or safe, just hard times with the rising cost of everything it's a struggle.
Only time I ever put a brand new set on a car was my mustang and I was able to get really good ones for half the price of what it costs for this big SUV
And it's a Denso. I had the timing belt, water pump, radiator, fan clutch & bracket, etc. replaced about a month ago. I thought about getting a Denso elsewhere, but ordered the MVP radiator from Toyota while there was a discount, and chuckled when I saw the Denso sticker. Bonus picture of the behemoth in the middle of a thousand mile road trip. It ran and drove great and got a robust 15 mpg with some long stretches at 80 mph. Unfortunately, it threw a code for the bank one cat the day after I got back, but whatever.
Averaged about 15mpg no major issues asides from it stalling out twice. Other than that, she ran like a champ.
2016 sr5 140k Silver
Paid fair market price
Hoping she'll last another 140k
