F4A Looking For Longterm Partner
Hello everyone! I have an RP idea that I’m really interested in doing, and I’m hoping to find a long term writing partner for it. I took a break from roleplaying for a while, but I’m finally ready to get back into things. During that break, I started experimenting with worldbuilding and ended up creating my own island-based world from scratch.
The main setting revolves around an island created by ancient animal gods. Everything that exists on the island was created by them, from the people to the wildlife and even the environment itself. The island is far from normal. It’s home to massive, unheard-of creatures that can grow to enormous sizes depending on the species. Even the vegetation and changing seasons are dangerous, making survival difficult year-round.
To protect the island, the gods created a race of guardians known as the Azarillians. They are enhanced humans with abilities far beyond normal people. In terms of strength, I’d compare them loosely to Wonder Woman levels physically, though not quite that extreme, especially while in human form. Alongside their enhanced abilities, they were also gifted beast forms, allowing them to shift into massive animal-like creatures to better survive and combat the island itself.
The Azarillians are not kind people. Their culture is brutal, savage, and survival-based. Their society operates on a kill-or-be-killed mentality, with very little room for mercy or morality. Their tribes are primarily female-led, with males being far less common within their population.
I’ve also added two additional islands into the worldbuilding, each with their own environments, dangers, and lore that tie into the larger story. I have a Discord channel where I’ve organized all of the worldbuilding, references, lore, creature concepts, and island information for my partner to look through once we start discussing ideas.
The main plot idea I had revolves around an arranged marriage between enemies. My partner would play someone from another tribe, clan, or civilization that originally came to conquer the island generations ago. Instead, they became trapped in a constant war against my tribe. Their people have now lived on the island for several generations, though they are still not truly native to it.
The arranged marriage would happen because of worsening food scarcity and a dry season that has lasted much longer than normal. Rather than continuing endless bloodshed, the clans attempt to unify through marriage between the heirs next in line to lead. The problem is that these clans despise each other. There’s deep hatred, hostility, power struggles, and constant attempts to dominate one another.
I’m still very open to expanding or changing ideas together, as I’m not completely locked into a single direction yet.
I personally do not enjoy constant romantic fluff. I’m looking for a partner who enjoys darker themes, drama, morally corrupt situations, violence, betrayal, political tension, cheating, manipulation, love triangles, killing, etc. These are brutal clans of people who are closer to beasts than civilized humans, so morally questionable situations fit naturally into the setting.
Of course there will be romance, but I don’t want characters falling in love after a few days. I want tension, hostility, emotional conflict, shifting power dynamics, and relationships that actually develop over time.
I play both genders and I’m open to FxM, MxF, and especially MxM pairings. I can do FxF, though it’s not my preference. I prefer partners who can play dominant or dominant-leaning main characters. My main character for this plot would be a submissive female eventually, but not immediately. That dynamic would need to develop naturally over time.
I’m also EST timezone. Requirements • Please be semi-lit to literate. • Multiple characters are a must. Not just NPCs either. I love side stories, political dynamics, rivalries, friendships, and having a world that feels alive outside of the main pairing.
• Please be able to write at least 2-3 solid paragraphs per response. I’m personally a novella writer, but I do not expect anyone to match my length exactly. I just ask for effort and detail.
• I only roleplay on Discord, though I prefer talking on Reddit first to make sure we’re a good fit.
• Anime face references are required. All of my characters already have references prepared. Please put effort into your references as well. I’d prefer something higher quality over random low-resolution images. If you need help finding references, I’m always happy to help since I already have an entire collection in my Google Drive.
• I am 18+ and all participants must be 18+ as well. I strongly prefer partners who are 21+.
• There will be smut involved. I usually prefer around a 60/40 or 70/30 plot-to-smut ratio. We can discuss details in private.
• Please only message me if you’ve roleplayed before. Managing multiple important characters and plotlines can get overwhelming for newer writers.
