I want to write a miraculous AU but include some aspects bt mari being chinese
The show doesnt really have any proper aspects that cover this and i really wanted to incorporate maris heritage in my fanfic so if someone has some recommendations (esp other chinese people) on how to write this in
It can be anything ranging from celebrating chinese new year to cooking a chinese dish for her friends. And if she would face racism living in france and if she does how would it be appropriate to write it? Theres also the Shanghai special, i personally dont think ill include such a major plot since my aus focus would be primarily mari and adriens respective characters, but i was wondering if i could do something like her class going on a trip to shanghai? Idk if thats possible cuz the only place my school took the class to were science museums😭i wanna include this cuz I was wondering if it would be appropriate to write mari being embarrassed bt her ethinicity at the beginning but include scenes like her friends loving her culture, meeting her uncle, trying his food in his restaurant, adrien learning mandarin from her, being invited to celebrate chinese new year with em etc
