Learning Chloe is back in Paris, Marinette fear for the worst..But on the contrary Sabrina is persuaded Chloe has changed and became a better person.
Who is right?
I remember seeing these everywhere prior to the second season back in elementary school on YouTube, with speedpaints and everything. If this was actually real and the plan at some point it was clearly overhauled into the potions (of which only 3 of them have been shown and barely so I’ve forgotten about them. Come to think of it is there a point to the ocean one existing? I swear there was an episode where cat noir used his staff as like the thing scuba divers breathe through which implies it’s a default feature like all the cell phone stuff they have. Plus I feel like the fact you can unify any combo of miraculouses is much more useful than any of the potions).
Also if ladybug was going to have Pearl / stone things what was Cat Noir gonna have (if at all lmao).
This is how I would rank them.
Andre the Ice Cream maker: His obsession with teenage couples is so annoying and I hate how he gets angry if people don't date in the way he expects (like how he was angry at seeing Marichat two times).
Roger Raincomprix: He is ANNOYING! Whenever an akumatized villain comes up, he shouts at them using his megaphone instead of GETTING TO SAFETY! The only thing he does is make Ladybug and Cat Noir's jobs harder!
Chloé and Audrey Bourgeois (tie): I never liked Chloé (the only time I think she was actually slightly changing was in Miraculer but we all know what happened in Miracle Queen). Her mean behaviour and desire for attention and later in the series, her evilness was horrible and annoying. Audrey has always been a horrible character and now that she has been revealed to be part of the kingdom, I hate her even more.
Bob Roth: Do I even need to explain this? Literally every episode he is in, he pisses me off!
Lila Rossi/Cerise Bianca/ her 100+ names: Of course, the crown of the character I most DESPISE is Lila (or whatever her real name is). In season 3, the episodes Chameleon, Oni-Chan and Ladybug made me lose my mind coz of her. And season 5 was the last straw! Whenever I saw Lila in season 5, I felt a new type of anger and hate! I don't hate her on such a level anymore as she is the main villain of season 6, but she still SUCKS! The writers make it seem like she is so smart and cunning but the truth is, she only gets what she wants coz the writers want her to. Because how the heck did Tomoe manage to keep a laptop which controls Gabriel's whole house and why does she even have such a device? And how did she coincidentally drop that laptop while running away with Gabriel which Lila somehow found without any surprise?! Did she know from the beginning that Tomoe would drop that laptop?! Oh and don't even get me started with how she managed to get the butterfly miraculous. The show never clearly explained it. We know that the butterfly miraculous fell in that water. But what happens after that? The next thing we see in the London special is that Cerise has been akumatized by herself and the miraculous is already at her lair. So you're tryna tell me that she somehow super quickly secretly used the laptop to access the sewage and get the butterfly miraculous and within like a time of 2 minutes ran back to her lair, akumatized herself, got a book and IMMEDIATELY run back into the Agreste mansion?!
Anyways, I am sorry for getting so angry in the post. I do not mean any ragebait or drama-bait. Comment down your opinions too!
Why in revelation does Natalie take a picture of the ring on her own hand? We know why she would show amile, the grimoir and the alliance rings, the picture of his parents shop and his old id etc since hes ashamed of his past, but she didnt take a picture of her alliance ring, she showed the ring on her own hand. Why would this be Gabriel agrestes secret?
This mightve already been told in the show but im just curious and forgetful.
Like, okay, I get it, Marinette’s freaking out because another girl is getting close to Adrien. But here’s the problems with that approach for this episode. One, it fits much better with Kagami since unlike Lila she’s not a lying sociopath who’s genuinely out to cause harm, so that portrayal of jealousy better illustrates how Marinette is being irrational. Two, they felt the need to shove the love square - once again! - at the centre of an episode where that wasn’t necessary. I mean, some girl is going around not only falsely claiming to be Marinette’s best friend, but actively trying to rope her friends in on her scheme for attention by giving Alya that interview and then trying to deceive Adrien with the fake Fox Miraculous to impress him. Feelings for Adrien aside, that alone should have been enough to provoke aggravation from Marinette and have her investigate - not only is Lila using her secret identity to gain personal clout, but she’s also risking putting her friends in danger should Hawk Moth ever find out about it. Having it just be yet another thing to do with Adrien makes Marinette’s character feel more flat and it was entirely unnecessary to use this as a motivation - if anything, Lila trying to weasel her way towards Adrien should have just amplified Marinette’s frustration, not been the root cause.
Choose something that does not affect the overall storytelling quality of the show.
For example:
- The transformation sequences being repeatedly shown in each episode
- The Lucky Charm and Cataclysm always being activated by voice commands
What trivial things do you dislike about the show?
Seems like they got more comfortable with making posters with the new models? Not entirely sure, but I view the recent ones as improvements.
Edit: New Artstyle*, thank you for the corrections.
- I don't care for Marinette as a character. I'll admit she has her good moments, but I usually find her annoying. I also tend to not like main characters.
- However, I don't understand where the criticism of her being a ''Mary Sue'' comes from, because I've don't remember being able to go one second without cringing at her incompetence.
- I also don't care for Adrinette and all of its variants because it's the main ship, so it always felt shoved in our faces.
- MarcAniel and JuleRose are the best ships.
- Season 5 isn't as bad as people say it is. I think it brought good closure, like with Gabriel/Hawk Moth and Chloe.
- I've never liked Chloe and could not care less about her not having a redemption arc. I'm honestly content with never seeing or hearing from her again, she's had five seasons, let's focus on someone else. Zoe is a more interesting character, TBH.
- I like Zoe as a character, and don't mind her taking over Chloe.
- Marigami, Nathanette and ZoeNette are good ships.
- Felix is my least favorite character, because at least Chloe and Lila are meant to be hated, but we're supposed to feel sorry and be on Felix's side just because he has a sad backstory, when it doesn't excuse a lot of his actions.
- FeliGami is a bad ship, because it only exists as Felix kidnapped Kagami.
Lila is scary 😭 Is it possible that she wrote all those books about Marinette by herself? I don’t think she was the only one writing them. I feel like there’s a whole group of people working with Lila
I usually make these long critical posts, so I'd like to add something light for a change, my personal top 3 scenes so far, taking the whole package into account: ambiance, animation, action, music, voice acting, the whole thing.
#3 Kagami lecturing Tomoe (S6 Yaksi Gozen)
Kagami's VA delivery was outstanding, "Humiliation!" with the synchronized crackling of lightning sent a chill through my bones, the animation was absolutely stellar as well.
#2 Ladybug vs. Argos (S5 Emotion)
Best action sequence so far imo, as to be expected from the two Miraculer top dogs squaring off face to face. Even though LB was the one most aggrieved, she quickly becomes overpowered by Felix' conviction, you could feel the power in his punches and kicks when he pulls out the dust from the concrete. His affinity with the Peacock was so broken, not even the Lucky Charm could provide an out. Amazing stuff. I loved LB sticking the landing on the final beat of his corny song as well, immediately setting the scene.
#1 The Umbrella scene (S1 The Origins Pt 2)
This should be a surprise to no one, the music, the atmosphere, the thunderclap symbolizing the French translation for love at first sight "coup de foudre". This is the start of their mysterious journey which they are still not privy of to this day.
I confess, I didn't think too long about it, so these are the 3 that came naturally to me. Please let me know yours, I might've missed some for consideration!
Luka and Kagami could pretty much replace Marinette and Adrien as the main characters and the arcs and story would nearly be the same. Just switch Master Fu for Su Han and Gabriel for Tomoe and and it would somewhat align with canon without having to make any big changes
It’s just a minor thing I was thinking about a while back. Like how would they handle with their miraculous swapped for a day?
It's a fun concept I wanted to do after seeing the genres present on Letterboxd. I'm also curious if you have any suggestions.
This is what I personally think based of off every thing up to this point mainly from heartfixer sadnansi chained titans and lady chaos
warning major spoiler ahead please read with your own consent:
>!so from the ending of sadnansi we learn that Alya has suspected Hawkmoth's death as we saw her constantly recreating the scene meaning she already has grown suspicious!<
>!the final moments of Marinette failing once more to tell adrien about his father combined post credit of chained titans where ladybug suggests Chat Noir to find a second person for his miraculous also gives implication that maybe she's thinking she must continue this alone!<
>!the events of heartfixer brought Cerise one step closer to finding Ladybug's identity and it also confirmed the 3 new villains ray nelson and loiic have nothing to do with cerise there just some terrible humans!<
>!and finally amilie's ominous line off truth always coming too light also hints at something!<
combine all off this together and this is what I think we get:
>!in the secret protocol Marinette goes to Nathalie to talk about the fact that adrien's father is hawkmoth thinking she can trust Nathalie but Marinette soon discovers the whole thing about organization and Nathalie's father which lead's to her feeling betrayed at the same time Alya learns that Marinette kept the fact that Gabriel is Hawkmoth from her than cerise launches a massive plan and with the help of tomoe makes ladybug confess on an global broadcast that she lied to the world leading too everyone to lose trust and belief in her adrien feels betrayed and this leads to the end of her relationship with marinette the guilt of this make marinette believe by dragging everyone into this she only puts them in more danger so she takes all off the miraculous's back and disbands the miraculers and decides she has to stop cerise and all this mess by her self potentionally leading to show's most darkest and bleakest season arc ever!<
That's my headcanon what do you think ?
Hi
So I as talking to my friend about what shows we are watching and eventually I got to MLB, and he told me he wanted to get into it but he felt it was too long for him to catch up so I wanted to give him a list of episodes to watch so he could enjoy the newer and older seasons while not having to sink as much time on it
