I sometimes wonder if Zanark didn't just end up in the wrong anime. Seriously, just from his introduction alone, you have to wonder if the guy is anything like the others.
Now that I think about it, I really want to see a sabre-toothed tiger hissatsu.

Ah... That really is one of Ares' best matches. And it's so cool to see a match without the main character's team.

I know full well that goalkeepers in GO don't really get much respect. But I feel like Shinsuke was treated with so little respect during the tournament, even though he's supposed to be the best goalkeeper in Chrono Stones. Poor guy...
It’s honestly wild that Shinsuke’s performance during the tournament is closer to Romeo vs. Giru than to Sangoku vs. Zan (even though Sangoku conceded five goals in that match, despite putting in a more respectable performance).
It's actually crazy that we haven't seen him stop a shot hissatsu on his own. Not even Spring Arrow...
What I mean by that is, these are episodes you think are really good, even if they aren't exactly "favorites" for you. You could say these episodes are a bit underrated.
In a tier list, these would be episodes you'd place in the A or B+ tier.
Personally, I’d go with episodes like "Reverser" or "Reunion." I think they’re really good—maybe a bit underrated—though they don't quite make my all-time top 10 Miraculous episodes list.
I think these are three really good hissatsus.
My favorite is probably Bousou Chariot. But I also really like Unbalance Pisa.
In a normal world, both actions clearly deserve a red card. But this is Inazuma Eleven: so, which of these moments makes the most sense to justify a red card in this anime?
At first, I would have said Drim's elbow strike on Hikaru (that was truly, downright violent). But actually, when I rewatched Orion, freezing the frame on Kozoumaru's Fire Tornado hitting Lus changed my mind a bit.
Perhaps the red card in Orion is indeed the one that makes the most sense (in the season of corruption).
Technically, in real life, I can easily see footballers replicating Drim's move. It's a bit less likely for Kozoumaru's.

Even though I know "Ephemeral" is a somewhat controversial episode, I still think it's one of the most iconic episodes of Season 4.I think there are plenty of other iconic episodes too (Risk, Optigami, Sentibubbler , Rocketear...).

Honestly, one of my favorite moments in the entire saga is : Strike Samba V3 vs. Shinkūma V2, followed by The Birth vs. Capoeira Snatch V3. I absolutely love the way this match ended.
Hmm... I wonder if I would have preferred a Hissatsu move based on Japanese croquettes rather than spaghetti macaroni. Nah, probably not.
That's a question I asked myself after rewatching Ares and Galaxy. I'm going to take two examples from the anime.
Take Phobos from Ixal Fleet, for example. I’ve always viewed him as an incredibly powerful goalkeeper—undoubtedly one of the best in the series. Yet, technically speaking, he did concede 8 goals during the match.
Then there's Saginuma (Ares Version). Technically, he really is one of the best goalkeepers in Ares. The issue isn't so much that he conceded six goals, but rather how he conceded them. I don't get the same impression as I do with Phobos, even though Phobos conceded fewer goals. I think it comes down to the quality of the goals.
I think it's possible to show a goalkeeper as extremely powerful even if he concedes five or six goals. But I also think it comes down to the quality of the goals he concedes.

Surprisingly, I’d say my favorite moment of the entire match isn’t necessarily a shot or a save. It’s actually the scene with Ichinose on the bench. I’ve always loved the unique way the Japan vs. USA match concluded.
3 special moves that are all very good.
Although, to be honest, I have such a strong preference for Gran Fenrir. But I do like Pegasus Shot too.
It's really a basic thing, but there's still something deeply satisfying about it. Especially since some scenes are really very brief.
Whether it's Haizaki vs. Nosaka or Saru vs. Zanark, etc., etc. There's something about it that means I never get tired of it.
I'm really looking forward to seeing scenes between Haru and the new antagonists in the Victory Road sequel.
I've always loved episodes 100 and 101, which focused on duos like Kogure/Hiroto and Toramaru/Tobitaka. Sure, these dynamics didn't involve the main characters, but they really gave a sense of the team working together.
I think I would have liked to see some more unlikely duos. I’m thinking, for instance, of Sakuma and Kazemaru, given their journey in Season 2. But also Toramaru/Someoka, and a bit more of Fudou/Tobitaka. But I am already happy with what we got.
The lack of respect for Seidouzan is absolutely insane. But anyway, I'd say my favorite moment is definitely the first appearance of Fire Tornado DD.
My favorite is definitely Gladius Arch. But to be honest, it could just as easily have been RC Shoot... I find that shot absolutely hilarious.
For me, it's definitely the Teikoku vs. Raimon rematch or Epsilon Kai vs. Raimon. Looking back, there were actually quite a few low-scoring games during the early seasons.
Yeah, now that I think about it. Most of the national teams in Orion just have goalkeepers with one
Hissatsu and forwards with two or three shots hissatsus.
Dribble? Almost nothing
Defense ? Almost nothing
The worst one is Shadow of Orion. The final team that only has two hissatsu moves. Damn..
I'm a bit confused that the wiki mentions Vorpal Swords as the first team to defeat Jabberwock in a match.
I don't recall Jabberwock being supposed to be an undefeated team. Especially since I think that would have been mentioned somewhere—particularly if the intention was to hype them up as strong antagonists.
I’m sure Jabberwock has been beaten before (otherwise, it would certainly have been mentioned that JW was an undefeated team). What seems logical to me is that their last defeat was likely a long time ago—probably back when they were first formed.
