Ok. Trying to keep this short, im a 20 year old legally blind guy who still lives at home (obviously. I mean, there's no way I could live on my own as a disabled person these days).. a friend i am extremely close with, despite a 3-ish year age gap, asked why I couldn't move in with them. I am also very close with the family, as in, "I go over nearly every weekend to hang out and stay a night or 2" close. That question stuck with me, so I brought it up yesterday with his mom, and it turns out it was discussed before. Both parents are fine with it given I give them at least 2 week notice, and I would only have to pay about $100 a month for rent rather than the 500 I pay my actual family. Mind you I get about 660 per month, and thats what I live off of. So 160 for entertainment, haircuts, food delivery, etc. On the other hand though, i watch my 7yo brother pretty frequently, and while I know he isnt mine to worry about, I still do and want to help out if I do move out. Weather i come back home to watch him sometimes or take him with me and said friend out to lunch or something once/twice a month to give my parents a break. So my question is, do y'all think I should take the offer or no? And please be nice about this. This is one of those crossroad questions that make the brain want to blow up lol.
