I’m looking for club recommendations in/near the CBD with genuinely good music — not just generic EDM.

I’m early 20s (born 2005) and ideally want places that play:
2000s–early 2010s throwbacks
Pitbull, J.Lo, Rihanna, Usher, Ne-Yo, etc
Nostalgic pop/R&B you can actually dance to
Mixed with some current hits (but not dominated by them)

Not really after:
Heavy techno/house-only venues ( I couldn’t catch vibe in Curtin house it was fun though )
Places where the music kills the vibe or you can’t dance

Prefer:
Good crowd/energy
Danceable floor (not just standing around)
Decent safety + not overly aggressive crowds
If there are specific nights (e.g. themed throwback nights), that would be even better.

Any solid recommendations?
