idk why i can’t make a proper title without c3ns0r1ng the word t01l3t but some people really are d1sgusting. i saw the worst d00d00 ive ever seen in the t01l3t near room 110 in the alan finkel building and the second worst near room 102. i almost puk3d before my presentation so thank you to whoever did that! from one engineering folk to another, you are not helping w the stereotype.

hi guys, im debating if i should go to monash at clayton campus or go to uniMelb. I love the double degree program here but im scared that it would be a very boring 4 years at clayton

so can anybody pls tell me if clayton campus and the surrounding area is fun to live in (night life and shopping and restaurants and stuff)? my parents are forcing me respond to my offers at the end of ts month.

ps: im an international student under 18 so i have to live in campus for the first year (or first semester at least) so living in the city and commuting isnt a choice for me, and im very unlikely to do that either if i get the chance to live outside of campus

Hopefully this reach the right ppl. But technically i have a inclass test this monday i missed it due to having period cramps.

1. I have a history of having rlly bad period cramps/ heavy flow that often leads to going rlly pale and blacking out. Addin on having undiagnosed anemia (most of my fam have it. But i havent properly checked even tho i get most symptoms)

I was on my second day of period and i just didnt have the strength to move. Even if i did i wouldnt be able to focus on the test. Or i could black out j from standing up

2. Its period cramps. I did not go to the doctor for that. I applied for special consideration but i dont have any like. Paper evidence??? Though i explained everything.

Do u guys think it would be ok? What should i do?

So im going to apply for clayton accommodation (probably the studio one). I want my hall to be like close to the bus stop and has like lots of events so I can make friends ❤️ tyy

Hi guys, I have a friend that wants to know if monash checks previous semester coding work when they are checking current / future semesters. Lets say student A and student B both did coding work in 2026 sem 1. When monash is checking the next / future semesters, will they also compare the code of student A and student B in which they did the coding work in 2026 sem 1?

This post is inspired by another person calling out the lack of English language skills in foreign students. I know my people so well, of course most of them have far wealthier families than I do, yet the trivial things just make me roll my eyes more often than I wanted to.

It’s dozens of missed jokes in the class slides because they are completely unaware of the context, it’s calling local Aussies “foreigners”. It’s dissing Australia and saying there’s no fun while they sit around within their enclosed social circles.

Other subreddits of Australian universities have recently seen posts about these students outright promoting cheating methods even in emails. So many things about them in academic abilities are extremely questionable. These people really make me sick to my stomach.

Has everyone received their results for deferred exams yet? (Especially FIT 🫩) Should i be worried if i still havent received mine?

I’m currently crashing out. I’ve tried 5 different computers and none of them work. The library stinks too. The WiFi is absolutely awful too. Anyone else experiencing this?

Genuinely help me. I left my GIG offer too late, as I completely forgot about it. I’ve heard that previous GIG cohorts have been able to resubmit an acceptance due to them reopening the forms (I might be wrong). I’ve been emailing them so much just hoping they’ll give in at some point and do the same. If anyone else is in the same boat, surely help me with some solutions. Or all just keep emailing them and they’ll be so sick of us that they reopen! Anyways, help please!

How do I actually land an internship? For background, I study a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Finance and am in my penultimate year. I feel like I’m doing everything right, WAM 85+, doing networking, heavily involved in student clubs, resume follows an IB template from wall st oasis, I tailor my resume and cover letter to every application.

I’ve applied to literally everywhere, big and small firms. I’ve tried accounting, tax, audit, consulting, transfer pricing, M&A, wealth management, asset management, corporate finance, IB, private credit, etc but no luck at all. I’ve put through over 100 applications in the last few months and I’ve had 40 rejections already. Just feels like a humiliation ritual, I actually don’t understand how people get hired for internships these days.

I presume the reason for most of my rejections is a lack of experience.

If anyone has some tips, tricks or advice, I would really appreciate it a lot!

Look I 100% support the use of AI to learn but idk man isnt this concerning? Why is Monash letting assignments be AI automated what even would be the point of this? Can someone actually explain what benefit students and/or the faculty get by letting an assignment be 100% AI generated?
