I’m keen to try road cycling but 1. Don’t have a road bike and 2. Don’t have anyone to go with.

Does anyone know if there are any female specific groups I could tag along with plus anywhere I could hire a bike from for a day to try it out? I’d say I have some fitness, I spend hours on my stationary bike. I’m based in Royal Deeside so local groups would be ideal but I can travel.
